Marc S.June 2024PozitivnoCleanliness, new sanitary facilities, beautiful pool area, ideal for children Camping itself beautifully designed and well maintained, small store with everything you need, central location, ideal for excursions in the region, friendly staff, nice playgrounds for the little onesNegativnoA lot of noise, practically no night's rest, many vehicle movements because the towing vehicles stay inside, restaurant rather expensive with moderate quality, neighboring campsite has a party practically every evening, toilet cassette emptying only at the machine (2€), pitches in the middle very sloping and unkempt, water connections (for a fee) totally rusted, beach has broken glass everywhere in the gravel, very complicated communication with the reception (x confirmation emails, etc...).5 stars - rather not !!!We stayed at the campsite for 5 nights. Unfortunately we were disappointed as this place has zero charm. Everything is designed for maximum animation and is very impersonal. If you are looking for this and put camping in second or third place, this is the right place for you. Unfortunately, this maximum... tourism is also reflected in the restaurant and the Italian touch disappears completely. This was not our case and therefore we will not be back...Samodejno prevedeno.

The pitches themselves, especially the ACSI pitches (red and blue) are quite uneven, but if you have wedges and boards with you and are a bit practiced, you can manage.

Lack of cleaning agents for the toilet seat. The staff at reception are not always competent and there is little support for problems. We are used to this differently. The pitches were large and some had a very good view of the water. The trees were also very lush and healthy. The sanitary facilities were very clean and the chemical toilet was very well done, the beach was replaced by grass and the shore was paved with stones.NegativnoDogs were allowed on the entire beach. This was peed on and pooped on if the owners did not pay attention. There is no separation anywhere so that you are undisturbed as a non-dog owner. One can say about the quietness of the place: very pleasant. Only the neighboring campsite turned the music up just in time for the evening rest. As we stayed on the trash pitch we saw that 30% of the piches were empty. They were saving places for the ones that come for a longer stay. Well the point of having a motorhome is the liberty to move whenever not to stay in one place whole vacations.

Waiting time more than 45 minutes.
We had booked one of the new superior equipped pitches. The pitch was uneven, stony (several pegs were bent) and far too small. Our caravan (length with drawbar 7.4... m) just fitted on it so that the car could still stand next to it. We were then on the edge of the path with the awning. The path was not very wide and access with the trailer was quite difficult. The water connection was quite old and embedded in the ground. The pitch only has two small trees separating it from the rear neighbor. No partition to the next neighbor. Everything was very cramped.
Unfortunately, many guests are also too lazy to take the extra 5 steps and use the paths, preferring to walk across the pitches and then become unfriendly.
Sanitary building was ok. So far clean, except for a few guests who leave their dirt behind.
The site advertises itself as "dog friendly" - we had the feeling they were tolerated. A so-called DogPark 5x5m fenced gravel ground in which the dog is supposed to do his emergency and even here dog owners do not manage to use the provided dog waste bags. Dogs are tolerated on the right-hand side of the beach, but there is no shade. You will also look in vain for a dog shower.
There is only one machine for disposing of waste in the camping toilet (you have to cross the campsite) and it costs €2.
In the restaurant it takes time for the staff to bring you the menu and then take an order (although not even 1/3 full). Then sometimes the wrong drink is brought and the staff make a very unmotivated impression and are mostly unfriendly. The pizza is ok, few toppings and larger crust, could be better. The starters are good, but very expensive for a camping restaurant. The portions of pasta are very small and too expensive.Samodejno prevedeno. - Steffi T.May 2022Pozitivno-Beautiful water park (only with swimming caps) - New and clean sanitary blocks - Bakery in the supermarketNegativno-Pitches for motorhomes very unkempt: no separation, stand on a meadow (without lawn, but with lots of dog excrement), very uneven. -With baby and toddler you are already dependent on bus or car, to sirmione approx. 3km and descencano approx. 7km5 stars ?Standing at reception, you think it's a 5-star site. Once you drive down to the pitch, the disappointment comes quickly. The view of the lake is great and makes up for a lot. But not suitable for us as a family because we simply can't walk forever with a toddler (5 years) and baby and there is simply... nothing in the immediate vicinity. If you do make it to Sirmione, it's very nice there. There is a bus, but it is not as cheap as advertised (from sirmione back for 2 adults and the 5 year old also had to pay in full: €7.60).Samodejno prevedeno.

We reserved a Premium pitch in advance with an ACSI Card for 5 euros extra. We didn't know which pitch was reserved for us beforehand, only when we arrived were we allocated the pitch. Here is the first point of criticism as to why the site does not deserve 5 stars.... Most of the pitches on the campsite are very uneven except for the pitches right by the lake. 2nd point of criticism would be the sanitary facilities which are getting on in years but were always clean and were cleaned several times a day. We thought it was great that the campsite is right on the lake and the pool area is really a dream for young and old. You can also eat well in the restaurant and have a drink or two. There is a supermarket right next to the campsite where you can get everything you need. There is also a wholesale market in the immediate vicinity with a great selection and prices. We can recommend the campsite to everyone without any problemsSamodejno prevedeno.

The friendly staff and the high quality of the food is impressive. The cooked knuckle of pork is one of the best I've eaten recently. However, the closure of the sanitary building for cleaning in the morning from 7:30 to 8:30 is not at all acceptable. The water dispensers in the showers are also too short. We were there in June 2017 with ACSI-Card and had a great time. There are plenty of leisure activities, whether sports or culture. Sirmione is very easy to reach by bike. Shopping facilities are available on site, but as with all campsites, too expensive. But you can shop... around the corner in the supermarket. The sanitary facilities are fine and are kept clean. We will definitely be back.
