We were greeted very nicely and were able to enter the site before 1 pm. No problem at all.
The pitches are very spacious and well paved. The campsite is very green and the sanitary facilities are cleaned often during the day. Very modern... and clean at all times!
The cycling connections are just great. You can be in the center of Amsterdam in 15 minutes by bike!
You can get out of the hustle and bustle of the city and the campsite is absolutely quiet!
The bread roll service and the store on the site are also really great...

Your answer about spiders eating mosquitoes did not solve our problem, we had to go to a hotel at 11PM. A SHAMEHORROR IN THE BUNGALOW,When we went to sleep the room was infested with spiders.
There was even in our bed.
We couldn't sleep, it was terrifying.
The response from the owner of the campsite was amazing.
The spiders eat the mosquitoes, which we have many, and that way they don't bite us.
A real nightmare.
At 11 pm we had to... look for hotel accommodation.
There are more comments that also experienced the same situations.
Dozens of spiders in your room that is not cheap.
I will never go back, it's all marketing.
You pay for that, not for the quality.
As you can see in the ratings.

Our caravan pitch was on B12, which was very well shaded. We felt comfortable here, except for the occasional waft of marijuana smoke that drifted by. But I guess you have to... live with that in Amsterdam.

The herb garden is great, you can simply pick your own oregano, basil and mint.
The supermarket has everything a camper needs, including fresh bread rolls in the morning.
If you have booked in advance, you can... drive straight to your pitch without having to contact reception.
The sanitary facilities are clean and tidy.
For those travelers who do not have a power connection, there is the possibility to charge cell phones at the sanitary building - unfortunately, many people sit on the floor.
There are also extra hotplates and microwaves for cooking or warming up food and for sitting.

We will definitely be back and recommend it to anyone looking for an idyllic atmosphere and yet close to the city. Stay true to your approach and keep up the good work!NegativnoBecause of the construction site outside, the place was not so easy to find but that would be the only thing.All-round super.....!We went there spontaneously and were given a very friendly and competent welcome. We were given detailed instructions about the pitch, restaurant, bread roll service, streetcar and 24-hour ticket. It was a relaxed start to our vacation. Great people and atmosphere. We will certainly visit the site again.

Bathing water is fantastic. Cleaning 2 times a day and enough distance 1.5 m in store, restaurant and terrace. Perfect location 20 minutes by bike in the center of Amsterdam. Herbert G.December 2019PozitivnoVery centrally located for AmsterdamNegativnoSupermarket is very expensive.Turn of the year 2019/2020We stayed at the campsite with our motorhome at the turn of the year this year. As soon as we arrived, it was clear how well organized the site is. We were late, the reception was no longer staffed and yet we received a written message in a post box telling us how to find our booked pitch, which was... also very well described. The next day we got to know the reception staff, who were all very friendly and helpful. In the small supermarket next door you can find almost everything you need as a camper, although it is very expensive. For example, a 1.5 l bottle of water costs €2. The sanitary facilities are in top condition, are cleaned several times a day and the site is very tidy and clean. The location, directly surrounded by water, is not necessarily suitable for swimming in summer, but it is very idyllic. During our stay (Dec/Jan), the restaurant belonging to the campsite only served fast food. To get to the center of Amsterdam, of course, a bicycle is recommended, about 4.5km. The streetcar stop is about 20 minutes walk from the campsite, with the line 26 you are then in about 15 minutes in the center, at the station.Samodejno prevedeno.

No drying room.Ideal campsite to explore Amsterdam and the surrounding area...Beautiful campsite surrounded by water, greenery and roads. On the edge of Amsterdam, very close to the city center. A 5-10 minute walk to the streetcar and then 10-15 minutes to the center. Despite the close location to the city center, the place is quite green with rich bird life but within sight and... earshot of the streets. Reception was quick, friendly and informative in English. The reception has information, maps of the surrounding area, a small store with the essentials and morning bread rolls. Restaurant, canoe and bike hire. Lots of seating around the reception and restaurant, also under cover. For tent campers there are also barbecue areas, an open kitchen with cooking facilities, fridge etc. The pitches are very narrow and small. At our time there were a lot of World Cup and camper buses on site. The large sanitary block in the middle of the site is very new, modern and was clean. What is missing is a proper drying room for towels, clothes, shoes etc., which is indispensable for tent campers, as otherwise you can't get your clothes dry in the cold, wet season. Nice restaurant.NegativnoToo obvious drug use. Loud. Not courteous.Never again for us!The site is in a really good location and is beautifully laid out. If you just want to spend the night there and come with your own car, you will certainly feel at home. We rented a small trailer (Wagonette) there. It stank terribly of mustiness, the heating didn't work and the water ran down the walls... and windows. Despite informing reception, we were not rebooked into another trailer but were given a small fan heater. The restaurant was really nice and the portions were ok. The sanitary facilities were clean and plentiful. The campsite looked a mess and was really flooded when it rained. What bothered us most, however, was the drug use on the site. Whether in the morning, at lunchtime or in the evening, the joint was enjoyed everywhere on the site. This led to: 1 night: screaming men who were reprimanded by the staff and 2nd night: unresponsive woman who banged against the car door for at least half an hour and sleep was out of the question. Conclusion: for us the place was not suitable at all and even the location could not change that.Samodejno prevedeno.

Frank B.April 2019PozitivnoProximity to the city, sanitary facilities, friendliness, flairNegativnoNonePerfect for a city trip to AmsterdamThe site is located on a peninsula to the east of Amsterdam and the first impression is immediately extremely positive: very friendly staff, everything in top order, clean and simply cozy. Extending the stay by one day was also no problem. There is a small store where you can find the essentials (including... fresh bread rolls in the morning), plus a nice restaurant and canoe rental. Campers with tents will also find a small outdoor kitchen and a fridge, and cell phones can even be charged free of charge at reception. The proximity to the city is simply great, and it's no problem at all to get there by bike or public transport. Nevertheless, the peace and quiet is not disturbed and you can relax. The wash house is apparently brand new and just great, and there are also two additional smaller sanitary facilities available. An absolute recommendation for a trip to Amsterdam!Samodejno prevedeno.

Then we had to postpone something which was no problem at all and even when we added another day it worked despite the very full place. Everything was friendly and well organized. The pitch right on the water was very nice and the (brand new?) sanitary building was already clean.... Despite the Easter vacations, it was quiet and we were able to explore Amsterdam (with the 14 or the 3 into the city) and the surrounding area (with our own car) from here. Fabian und Anja S.November 2018PozitivnoAmsterdam-Sightseeing, the perfect starting point.NegativnoJune to September is high season. It's fully booked and very expensive and the place is buzzing. But there are 8 other months of the year.Simply top for an Amsterdam tour.We spent a few days exploring the city with baby and bike on board. When approaching, especially with a long wheelbase, pay attention to the speed bumps, as it often grinds on the underbody and check-in is possible day and night. If you arrive in the evening, simply go to the sector marked on the information... board. (usually A or B) and report to reception by 10 am. At night you just have to pass security at the entrance. The site is open all year round. You can reach the streetcar via the road bridge. The reception with a small supermarket is well equipped. There is also a folder with information such as good pubs, stores, etc.. There are also free city maps. If you want to get around by bike, do so. It's easier than trying to navigate the narrow canal streets by car or even motorhome. I once had fun at 5 o'clock in the morning. (Don't imitate. :-) ) The Amsterdammers are already annoyed by the many tourists riding around on their bikes. Watch out for the scooters that are allowed to use the cycle paths. Shopping in the Java quarter there is Lidl, a drugstore and bakery, butcher, coffee shop, and many pubs and smaller stores. There is also a regular market there. But back to the square. In November it was already quite quiet on the square. For campers there is an outdoor kitchen with a fridge, hob and microwave. The whole surrounding area is well thought out. Only relaxed people there. (I wonder why?) According to the rules, a maximum of 7 overnight stays are permitted. There are no permanent campers here. But in the low season, I don't think anyone will crow if you stay 2-3 days longer. The pub is beautifully furnished. There is a good menu and a daily special. A little thin in the low season. Sanitary facilities were well maintained. Showering is limited to 5 minutes, then there is a break. Only when 4 minutes have elapsed can the next person shower. In the high season this is certainly a good system to get the masses through. In November when it is cold, a minus point. Disposal of service water is free, as is the chemical toilet. Fresh water for 60 liters 50ct. You can't complain. However, the water continues to run when the tank is full and cannot be turned off. The free W-LAN worked well. Youtube videos could be watched without jerking. It will probably be different in the high season. Thanks to the team at the campsite, including the kitchen crew.
