absolutely no recommendation
Very unfriendly site operator, you have to search a long time to find one like this. We just wanted to eat something in the restaurant and have a look at the pitch to see if we liked it for a later booking. The good guy came straight up to us and asked if he could help us. He looked like he wanted to... say, get out of here. We've been campers for over 30 years now. This was the first time we weren't allowed to look at the site. Then he said something about dogs being banned and completely booked out and that we had to book at least 1/4 year in advance. Honestly, it's a real shame that even the last Neanderthal without any manners can successfully run a campsite at the moment. I had great difficulty keeping my composure at that moment. If you are satisfied with such demands, go ahead, we strongly advise against settling here. Friendly operators deserve much better!!!

Excellent food prepared creatively and professionally by the chef. Quiet location on the edge of the forest. Good value for money.

Few and uneven pitches. Quite steep approach, but well developed. Simple sanitary facilities.
Worth a visit for the owner's cooking skills alone
The approach through a residential area is steep at first. The site on the edge of the forest is characterized by permanent campers and is very quiet. The sanitary facilities are simple and dated but in good condition. The site operators are very courteous and friendly. The few pitches on wild grass are mostly very uneven. But the birdsong and the kitchen make up for a lot of what the site might lack.

Quiet cozy CP
After an appointment with our caravan at the Gast Caravaning company in Malsch, we decided at short notice to drive to the Bergwiesen camping park and spend a long weekend there. We received a friendly welcome and were able to choose our pitch. We then went to the Camperstüble for dinner. The food was... perfect and is highly recommended. The sanitary facilities are old but very clean. To put it simply, we felt completely at ease and will be planning a long weekend there more often.
