Sanitary is well maintained, short distances from almost all pitches. Marking of the areas (motorhome, caravan, tents) is excellent. The surfaces were also problem-free, pegs went in well even... in the stony ground. A good starting point for e.g. hikes, good restaurant on site (a little more expensive, but is normal today). Operator has a problem with card payments (mental, not technical). And the shorter the length of stay, the worse the allocated pitch. Very strange strategy on the part of the operator.

Everything is clean and the view is simply camper-like. Many thanks for that. What I don't like so far, however, are:
1. the very narrow access roads to the pitches
2. the expensive WLan (2 GB for 20€)
3. very expensive... electricity that has to be paid extra (currently 90 cents/kw/h)
5. the cheapest main course in the Baude costs €17.90. A beer costs €5.50
6. the playground can only be reached with an access card to the "closed beach area", is therefore remote and looks in need of renovation (my son (6) never wanted to go there voluntarily)
7. cramped shower cubicles and toilets
8. hot (free!) water is only available after 1-2 minutes
9. the coffee machine in the sanitary building is great, but too expensive for 3€.
10. cell phone reception only with D1 or O2. Vodafone no chance!
Double-axle vehicles are excluded, as they would be damaged due to the very narrow access roads.
The unusual registration procedure with parents traveling alone is based on negative experiences.
Unfortunately, the Bedagewässer has also been permanently closed to the public since 2022. However, the posted explanation ensures understanding. Campers still have access to the lake.

Unfortunately, our expectations in terms of customer service were not met. The senior manager of the park proved to be extremely unfriendly and even aggressive,... which has already been mentioned in other reviews.
There were also discrepancies with the billing. On our departure, we suddenly found four additional beers on our bill, although we had always paid for our drinks in cash. As a result of this experience, we decided to leave a day early, but still had to pay for this day in full.
Overall, we unfortunately cannot recommend the Wiesenbeker Teich campsite to others, as the customer service leaves a lot to be desired. He is very friendly and helpful. I was already prepared for the senior due to the previous reviews. We had booked 2 nights with a late departure. The reception was... well, let's leave it at that. The paths are very narrow on the campsite. Water and gray water disposal not at the pitch. No information on where to find fresh water. I was given a brochure with the words: read! Sanitary facilities were partly clean but getting on in years. Water in the showers was cold for a very long time. The lake is beautiful. We had a limited view of the lake. What really annoyed me: departure. I had taken my young son to reception to check out. We were told that we had booked 3 nights. It was actually 2 nights. We had supposedly said on arrival that we wanted to stay an extra night. I don't have dementia yet... and the booking confirmation said otherwise. The senior first lit a cigarette (I smoke myself, but not in a closed room when my son is with me. So I had to send the little one out first). Junior was called. As I said, I was extremely careful what I said and I don't think anyone needs to be afraid of anyone. The tone got louder and louder, not from me. After all, we're on vacation. In the end, we paid 140 euros for 2 nights in our own camper van (including a late departure of 30 euros). That was a record in 2 years. I thought it was super cheeky that an extra 2.50 euros was added because we paid by card. I don't think the guests in the neighboring Baude had to pay this fee. We have visited more than 30 campsites so far, but we have never experienced such unfriendliness and an unpleasant atmosphere, especially for the price. Too bad, we don't live far away, but never like this. We liked the fact that the site is car-free. Oh yes, internet only works with d1. Although there was no contract and no signature, the senior firmly claimed that my wife had booked WiFi with him!
After some back and forth, the amount was finally refunded, but a bitter aftertaste remains!

No mini market on site.High-quality campsite at a proud priceReally great place, but in terms of pitch costs as well as bread rolls and restaurant prices in the significantly higher price segment. 1 adult 2 children 4 nights in a large tent for a good 200€ is quite sporty. 65€ for a restaurant visit too. But just about okay for what was on offer. Our pitch was... unfortunately quite noisy due to several yapping dogs in the immediate vicinity at all times. But that was perhaps an unfortunate coincidence. Overall, the campsite is geared more towards caravan and motorhome campers than classic campers.Samodejno prevedeno.

Pitch for motorhomes not exactly recommended. The access road leads through the forest and is a challenge for larger vehicles. The prices are very high as you have to pay €1.50 from the machine for a small bottle of water from Tip. The... prices in the Baude, which is a restaurant, are also quite high. A very nice restaurant but unfortunately not what you want at these prices.
Friendliness is probably a foreign word there. You had the feeling as a guest to be a disturbing factor or we had the feeling that we are not or were not 5 star guests. The place certainly deserves 5 stars, but everything else is an underground 1. Comfortable and well-equipped sanitary building, e.g. washing-up room with stone worktop, hairdryer in the washroom, lots of disinfectant dispensers. Top solution: ordering bread rolls and reserving a place in the restaurant via the terminal until 8pm. Bad Lauterberg offers a small shopping street with lots of restaurants and small shops. Why?: The friendliness of the tenant is so subterranean that even the staff are embarrassed (comment from a member of staff: "that's just the way the senior boss is")
We were... told immediately on arrival that electronic corona tests are not accepted. When I asked if it would be possible to print out our test, we were brusquely turned away. So we had to drive 10 km to the next town to return with a printout. We were again greeted with the comment "why not just like that".

Now the kicker: on departure I was told that I had NOT yet paid in advance. Unfortunately, I couldn't show my bank statement because there is no LTE available on the entire campsite (wifi €20 per weekend!!). So I had to pay and drive to the next but one village to check my bank statement via LTTE. I then had to drive back to the campsite to show the tenant my bank statement for the advance payment. Only then did I get my money refunded. An absolute outrage! The junior manager in... particular is very courteous and helpful - he doesn't seem to have inherited this from his father. Implementation of the Corona hygiene rules very good! We have been campers for about a year and chose this campsite over Whitsun. This campsite is not about profit. The entire site is designed with love down to the smallest detail. Quaint, romantic and idyllic. You immediately feel comfortable and at home.... The terraced pitches make you feel less cramped. Even if it is a bit of an adventure to drive up and down with a car and camper van. But you learn to drive here ;-) The food at the Baude is delicious and reasonably priced. The sanitary facilities are clean and modern. As soon as you enter the sanitary facilities, the smell of wellness is in your nose. If you're hoping for decent cell phone reception or internet here, you'll search in vain, Wi-Fi is available, but actually unnecessary on vacation ;-). Just pure nature ;-) The staff were super friendly. We will definitely be back.
