"Never again - see above or again here: The entrance to the site alone seemed very unkempt and uninviting. The reception looked as if the site had been abandoned for at least 10 years. There is a toilet trailer which is quite clean. The washroom and kitchen were very dated and not really foreseeable. There are a lot of permanent campers and obviously no value is placed on short-term campers. The view of the site would be totally beautiful and idyllic if it were well maintained and certainly also because it has a nice swimming pool next to it. Unfortunately, investments would have to be made. We left after an hour and a half.

"Hot weekend in a dilapidated square - If you read what I wrote under the negative points, there's not much left to say. For people who have no problems with loud music and partying, it's certainly not a problem. For everyone else, I'm afraid I have to say... Look for another place.

"Friendly campsite near the Kyffhäuser mountain - Small campsite near Nordhausen in the north of Thuringia. Large pitches for tourist campers. Relaxed, informal atmosphere including morning bread roll service (order via WhatsApp, delivery directly to the tent!). The site is located by a pond with an adjacent, well-maintained outdoor pool. It is not possible to swim in the pond itself, but it is full of fish. Anglers are allowed to fish past the permanent campers' pitches right up to the shore. Contact with other anglers is quickly established. There are many excursion destinations in the area. The monkey forest in Straußberg and the huge model train exhibition in Wiehe are particularly recommended for children. The Kyffhäuser Monument and the Barbarossa Cave are also worth a visit. Both can be visited in one day. You can also spend many enjoyable hours on horseback at the riding stables in neighboring Wollersleben. The Nordhausen gravel pits are home to one of the clearest lakes in Germany, ideal for diving and learning to dive. There is no kiosk on the campsite. However, you can shop in the supermarkets in the surrounding villages and especially in the "tegut" supermarket. The best grilled sausages are available from the butcher in Nohra. The campsite's sanitary facilities are so-so, but are due to be completely renovated in winter 2019. The waste disposal behind the reception is in need of renovation. After the harvest at the end of August, strong odors from the field must be expected. The adjacent country road is sometimes audible, but quiet in the evening at the latest. Overall, the site is worth a visit and lives from its friendly atmosphere, the large pitches, a hard-working groundskeeper and the really nice permanent campers. The price/performance ratio is still right here. I give it 3 stars, for 4 stars the infrastructure should be a little better.

"Very nice little place - Great little place with absolutely friendly staff! Not overcrowded, you can stand wherever you want.

Aus Richtung Kassel / Göttingen über die A 38 bis Abfahrt Bleicherode in Richtung L3080. Auf der L3080 dann bis Wipperdorf, dort dann rechts abbiegen Richtung Sondershausen*. Sie durchfahren die Ortschaft Nohra und biegen ca 1 km hinter dem Ortsausgang …links** Richtung Wollersleben ab. Nach ca. 200 Meter (am Freibad vorbei) biegen Sie unmittelbar hinter dem Zaun nach rechts ab und erreichen nach 100 Metern den Campingplatz. Von Halle / Leipzig kommen Sie über A38 bis zur Abfahrt Werther, dort biegen Sie rechts auf die L3080 Richtung Wipperdorf ab. In Wipperdorf fahren Sie dann in Richtung Sondershausen links* ab. Wenn Sie aus Richtung Erfurt über die B4 kommen, fahren Sie bis Sondershausen. In Sondershausen biegen Sie dann Richtung Bleicherode / Großfurra ab. Sie fahren dann ca. 10 km bis Sie den Ort Wolkramshausen passiert haben. Ca. 1 km nach dem Ortausgang fahren sie an einer Agip-Tankstelle vorbei und biegen 100 Meter weiter rechts** nach Wollersleben ab. *braunes Hinweisschild (Märchenwald, Teichtal) **gelbes Hinweisschild (Hünstein) Neue Ausschilderung!!! Bitte achten Sie auf die braunen Hinweisschilder. Dort befindet sich das Campingplatzsymbol das Sie zu uns führt. An der Kreuzung Hünstein folgen Sie dem gelben Hinweisschild "Hünstein".
