Quiet, inexpensive, uncomplicated place in the immediate vicinity of the Spargelhof with all its attractions. Lake Schwielowsee is also not far away and Potsdam and the treetop walk are well worth a visit.

Food at the Spargelhof is expensive (but no entrance fee), partly no parcelling, lack of storage facilities in the sanitary container and often lack of soap in the toilets

Beautiful pitch for motorhomes and caravans of all sizes.

The site is located directly at the Klaistow asparagus farm, is easily accessible from the highway and can also be reached without booking a pitch in advance. We were here on the weekend after Ascension Day and there were always enough pitches... available. The staff and the groundsman were always friendly. The site is clean, there is electricity and water on site, as well as a disposal point for chemical toilets and gray water.

There are two combined shower and toilet containers for personal hygiene. These are beautifully clad and blend into the landscape. The facilities here are kept simple; they are simple construction site containers with two showers, two washbasins, two urinals and a toilet for men (two toilets for women). In my opinion, the shower area lacked a few hooks to hang up your shower bag and towel. The soaps at the hand wash basin were also often empty. Nevertheless, the facilities for the pitch are functional, it is clean and absolutely fine for the overnight price. You could choose your own pitch on arrival. Even on the long Lord's Day weekend, there was still plenty available. The check-in was absolutely uncomplicated.

The adjoining asparagus farm offers many culinary delights, from homemade bread and cakes to hearty specialties. There is something for everyone here.

We felt very comfortable and would love to come back.

The best thing was to stroll around the Spargelhof again in the evening and have all the attractions to ourselves (it is often overcrowded during the day).
