Justine L.August 2023PozitivnoThe beach, the sanitary facilitiesNegativnoGuests were allowed to talk loudly until three o'clock in the morning, listening to techno music and the extreme clattering of bottles. I thought that there was something like a caretaker who did his rounds in the evening - he would certainly have been able to do something about it. When I asked the group to be a bit sorry at midnight because our two children would like to sleep, I was laughed at, mimicked and the volume of conversation and laughter increased considerably. Pitches partly close to the snack bar and sanitary and service building. Every day various noisy activities by the site operator. 1 hour leaf blower for sand, x hours motor scythe, forklift, high-pressure cleaner etc. in the service building area. On vacation you expect some peace and quiet.Nice place but nothing for touristsADAC rating for sanitary facilities inexplicable.
Too few showers, cabins without splash guards and hooks in cabins not up to date. Toilets no longer clean at the weekend towards the evening, cleaning always takes place in the morning between 6 and 8 o'clock with the number of showers and toilets in... season not sufficient. Place is characterized by permanent campers and vacation home residents. Campsite is characterized by the permanent campers. The sanitary facilities have been renovated, but we felt that it was not of high quality and not completely done. Furthermore, the number of showers (4), toilets and flushing facilities are very limited. This wasn't a... problem when we were there, but in high season it can get tight. The pitches could be better maintained. Bread roll service only in season, nearest shopping facilities approx. 6 km. Electricity at the pitch and the price is top... Okay, the street is sometimes a bit noisy, but you have to come from somewhere. From us 5*Samodejno prevedeno.

- Martina S.July 2018Price and performance not consistentThe location (we were separated by a fence) "directly" on the lake, from quiet even far after 22 clock was unfortunately no question! Only 3 showers for so many visitors (ask us really who from the ADAC here 4 stars awards???) To the price: Severely disabled and students could not be considered in the... bill, we were told that only one of both goes, either severely disabled (3.50 € instead of 5.00 €) or students The reception has then taken students and the severely disabled charged with a whopping 5.00 €! - Iris P.August 2017Nice stay despite the rainThe campsite is located directly on a lake (Postweiher), free entry and easy to swim in. In good weather with a beach kiosk. Otherwise there is a good pizzeria on site with kebabs and steaks. You can also have breakfast there if you book in advance. Bread rolls can be ordered at reception. Washing machines... and dryers available (arrange times at reception). The site staff are friendly and helpful. Shower coins 0.60 EUR for 6 minutes (watch out minutes run down, despite water interruption). Sanitary facilities are clean. The site is characterized by permanent campers and returning tourists (both campers and camper vans). Unfortunately, we were unlucky with the weather, so we can't make any further comments on the surrounding area. The nearest large and extensive shopping facilities are in Selters, 6 km away. A secret barbecue tip is the local butcher, who still butchers and sausages himself.Samodejno prevedeno.

We received a prompt reply and a beautifully located pitch was reserved. The pitch was perfectly level and no adjustment of the camper van with wedges was necessary. The registration is completely unbureaucratic... and very friendly. The sanitary facilities lived up to expectations. Despite the rainy weather in the middle of August, we were able to pass the time by going for walks (appropriate maps were available upon registration).Samodejno prevedeno.

But this year the cleanliness, friendliness and quality has declined. We were told that there has been a change in the campsite management. - GW G.May 2016PozitivnoGood location, easy access, very clean place, friendly and helpful staff!NegativnoUnfortunately no fishing possible here, but that's it. :)We are always satisfied!The campsite has a very nice location, not the typical Westerwald ups and downs, but is mostly easy to hike because there are hardly any very steep stretches. There are numerous hiking trails. You can also walk around the numerous ponds created here by Prince zur Wied. Also very suitable and welcome... for dogs. You can swim at the adjacent Postweiher pond. Cycling and mountain biking are also possible. Unfortunately, fishing is not possible here, as the entire ponds are not allowed to be fished, so only the Wied pond further away or neighboring fishing ponds are possible. The pitches are plots, very clean. As care has been taken to ensure that rainwater runs off quickly, pegs and pegs cannot be hammered in very well due to the subsoil. There is a disabled shower and WC, very nicely done. But unfortunately the campsite goes upwards from the entrance, making it difficult for wheelchair users to reach the pitches and toilets. The pizzeria is to be recommended, but for shopping you have to get in the car and drive a few kilometers to the nearest bakery or supermarket. Bread roll service is only available in the season. There is nothing to complain about in terms of cleanliness, neither in the sanitary facilities nor in the pitch area. Everything is top! The staff are very nice and helpful, so I can't understand the criticism I've read here from other campers! The main access roads are paved and the campsite can also be used by large caravans without any problems.Samodejno prevedeno.

Very large pitches, many with a direct view of the lake. The men's showers could do with a curtain. The restaurant on site is very tidy. Bread roll service is also available. The village of Freilingen is very manageable and the nearest "civilization" (proper infrastructure) is 7km away. If you haven't been here for a year, you see a lot of new things - everyone here is very friendly and tries to make it nice for us guests!
