"My Pöhl Camp - We liked it so much that we already know we'll be back at the next opportunity. Even 3 nocturnal disturbers of the peace from southern Thuringia couldn't spoil this very positive impression.

"Time out at the ECLU - Super nice and clean facility. Located directly on the reservoir and ideal for excursions in the surrounding area. If you like it sophisticated go to Karlsbad CZ, if you want to hike - unlimited possibilities. For an adventure with children, the Syrau dragon cave is highly recommended. But the "fly in the ointment" is the restaurant "Zur Auszeit". The food here could be better and so could the price-performance ratio. Unfortunately, the bread roll service also leaves a lot to be desired. The bread rolls we ordered from the bakery were baked on site and somehow a roll was always missing --> totally inflated price for the rolls. We had an Eclu S - super great invention. Everything you need in the smallest space.

"We really enjoyed our extended weekend - Beautifully maintained site, with clean showers and toilets. Spacious pitches on a beautiful reservoir.

Welcome to the Pöhl dam, which is situated in the magnificent landscape of the Vogtland region, in close proximity to the lace-making town of Plauen. With a length of 7 km and a width of 2 km the foundly called …“Vogtland ocean” is the third biggest dam of Saxony. The various natural landscape as well as the wide range of leisure activities will turn your stay at the Pöhl dam into an unforgettable experience for the whole family. A first impression of the holiday region of the Pöhl dam you will get during an hourlong boat excursion. Toss daily routine over board and enjoy dreamlike views of the charming low mountain range landscape and the nearby sights. Culinary and musical themed as well as individual charter cruises will provide you with memorable and impressive moments. Back ashore you will discover the rich flora and fauna along the well-marked and broad network of walking trails. Adventurous leisure fun awaits you at the largest climbing forest of Central Germany, on the 9-hole golf as well as mini-golf course or as your own captain during a trip on the electrically powered adventure-raft. Beyond that water sport enthusiasts will find ideal conditions for sailing, surfing, pedalling and dragon boating on the 425 ha large Pöhl dam.
