The site stands out with its clean lawn. The proximity to the Sonnenbach reservoir is also not to be sneezed at.
The area is ideal for cycling and hiking. The people are very friendly and the local restaurants are also highly recommended. However, the fur noses are not officially allowed in the lake on the sandy beach. The sanitary facilities are old and cleanliness is probably a foreign word. We were with our children, looking for a swimming lake to cool off at around 35 degrees. We had a really fun day at the lake and made friends. On the way home again in the evening, we decided to take a closer look at the campsite. The children thought... the place (petting zoo, playground, football pitch) was just made for them. We asked the campsite owner for a pitch. Luckily he had one ready, right next to the fence (with a view of the lake). We then drove home and were back the next day with the team. Unplanned, it ended up being 2 full weeks at the end of August. After that we were there every weekend from Friday to Sunday until 3.10.2016. The campsite is perfect for families with children and dogs. You can speak to the owner on a first-name basis. Children have plenty to do with the leisure activities on site, which also gives parents some rest and relaxation. The events with live music on certain weekends also have a special charm. I can tell you a lot, because tastes are known to be different. Everyone should decide for themselves. For our part, we will be back for the opening in 2017 and will certainly spend one or more weekends there. P.S. We had the feeling that time sometimes stood still at the Sonnenhof, and an open barbecue was allowed this year.Samodejno prevedeno.

Not far from the bathing lake there is also an opportunity for dogs to splash around. Very nice and helpful operator. The food in the beer garden on site tastes delicious and is sufficient. - Ignaz G.March 2016We would love to come backWe stayed at the campsite at Easter 2016. The site is idyllically situated by a lake, which is perfect for a walk. As we were the only short-term campers on the site with friends, we were able to choose our pitches. The sanitary facilities are not the newest, but they are functional. However, you need... 50 ct to have hot water when showering. The restaurant is absolutely recommendable - good portions at a reasonable price.
