A stay that was far too short ;-))
A really beautiful campsite !!!!
A very informal campsite that makes you feel welcome. The great ambience and the layout of the pitches are very successful and offer guests a great camping experience. The natural bathing facilities are great on very warm days as you can cool off without having to drive far. Chilled drinks and ice cream... are also available for guests. This is very nice, especially if you are traveling with a tent and have no cooling facilities. The good connection to the city and the nearby leisure activities round off the very nice appearance of the camping site.
I would like to thank you, also on behalf of my family, for the best camping vacation we have ever had. We miss the humanity and the great conversations with the campsite operators as well as with some of the other guests.
We, the Flegel family, wish Ramona and Lutz a great time on your campsite and hope to meet again in Tostedt as soon as possible.

How to get home
It's like coming home. A warm welcome, great facilities, nice conversations. You also get great tips on leisure activities and current events. There is plenty of choice of restaurants and grocery stores in the village.

A great operator couple, absolute peace on the pitch and no stress at any time.

Simple but good in terms of quality
You can make very nice bike tours in the heath, Lüneburg, Hamburg and Celle are just around the corner, shopping about 1.5 km but then everything is available.
Who is looking for peace and relaxation is exactly right here.
Very important: Be sure to book in advance.

A feel-good jewel
The campsite is spread out around a natural swimming pool and is very inviting. A small niche here, an interesting planting there, very varied and imaginatively designed. The welcome was very warm and very courteous and remained so over the three nights. I even had a small plot with a covered bench.... The friendliness also radiates to the campers, simply to feel at home. Unfortunately I was there for far too short a time, but I will definitely be back.

Small but nice clean campsite
We arrived unannounced at Ramona and Lutz's gate. We were given a very friendly welcome, there was still room for us and our 2 dogs, so we were able to spend 9 relaxing days with them. Very clean sanitary facilities. Ramona and Lutz were always there and made sure that everything was clean. The whole... place is very well maintained, they are both very helpful, nice and friendly.

The natural swimming pool was being cleaned when we were there, almost all the permanent campers had come and helped, and you can tell it's very informal there, Lutz told us we were welcome to help a bit 😉 but only if we wanted to. Any help is appreciated. My husband helped a little.
Later, Ramona and Lutz came over and invited us to a barbecue. It was a great, cozy, happy get-together. We were warmly welcomed by the permanent campers.

We really enjoyed this vacation, slept late and went for lovely walks with the dogs. It was very quiet on the site and we felt very comfortable.

Ramona and Lutz do everything to offer their guests a great vacation. Although they have a lot of work to do on the campsite, there was often time for a quick chat 👍🏼

We really enjoyed being there.
Ramona and Lutz it was not the last time we were there 😉 After the school vacations we will spend a few days with you again. This time we will register in advance. 😂😉

Perfect for cyclists with a tent
This time we are not traveling with our caravan, but with the e-bikes and tent. This site is just as suitable for vacationers with caravans. On our cycle tour, we discovered that cyclists have completely different expectations of a campsite. The comment follows from this perspective.
Very nice operator... couple. We could choose whether we wanted to pitch our tent in the sun or under the trees.
In addition to tables, chairs and cushions for the outdoor seating, there is also a fridge with drinks for self-service and a kettle in a wooden hut.
That evening we had a strong, cold wind and it was shivering. It was very pleasant that we were able to eat our evening meal indoors. The next morning the sun was shining, so we were able to have breakfast comfortably on the terrace. A lounge and a table and bench area, pure luxury for cyclists and hikers. You can find it here.
Another hit is the swimming pond, which is fed by a spring. Wonderfully soothing and refreshing.
Showers with shower hoses that get really hot (if you want them to), without coin-operated showers! Clean sanitary facilities.
A small, very well-kept pitch. Charging the batteries was completely unproblematic.
An absolute insider tip. Also suitable for visiting Buxtehude, the Alte Land or Hamburg.
We would love to come back.

Very nice campsite with natural swimming pool in the middle of nature, wash house is always clean, owners very nice and helpful, well suited for transit, annual vacation or permanent camping. Very good excursion possibilities in all directions, Hamburg, Bremen, Cuxhaven, Hanover.

Quiet and ideal as a stopover heading north

Small, simple but nice, what a tranquility......
Small, simple and very quiet, campsite with approx. 26 pitches, of which approx. 5 are touristy. Located a bit outside the village Tostedt and is easily accessible (the last km.is "reasonable"). Location not too far from Autobahn A1 (Bremen-Hamburg. Ideal as a stopover to the North of Germany or Scandinavia... and back, but also for longer stays for cycling in the surroundings of the Lüneburg Heath. The pitches are not too big (60/70m2). In the center of the campsite is a natural swimming pool. Sanitary facilities (separated D/H) are simple,(almost) complete and spotlessly clean. The ladies area has been renewed and modernized fairly recently. Electricity 16A and WiFi (free) is good. Price (€ 21.00/n. for 2 pers + car/caravan) is perhaps a bit too much for the total offered, but the quiet and friendliness make up for that. We will definitely return there, on our way north, in 2019. Update 2019: We were guests at the campground again in May 2019 (2 nights in transit). Sanitary building had been put in a fresh green color and the men's sanitary facilities had been further modernized. A separate new (heated) building with washer/dryer and 2 modern rinsing/washing areas (see photos) was put into use. The paving in front of the sanitary building c.a. was also completely renewed.
