"My most expensive campsite ever - For one night with Wowa (2 adults and 2 teenagers) 88.60 in Aug. 2019. In return an unfriendly reception, a much too small unkempt pool area and an unkempt beach section on the actually beautiful little lake. The new luxurious sanitary building was great.

"Beautiful campsite - magnificent bathroom refurbished in 2017 very good quality accommodation lots of activities for the kids, great slides! top quality evening entertainment with live bands great vacation; thank you!

" - Beautiful pitches. Swimming pool pleasant but not supervised. Noisy. Old sanitary facilities. Mediocre entertainment. Many activities but chargeable. Golf and pedal boats more than old. Abandoned fitness room. No night watch, lots of late-night revelers (3 a.m.-5 a.m.).

" - We were there for 2 weeks and unfortunately I have to say - oh what a shame! Facilities: well laid out but not well maintained, sanitary block: dirty and always (3 days was the record) without paper!, pizza: not edible and served in aluminum foil!, supermarket: sometimes totally overpriced and on some days completely sold out. Place is well placed and apparently loved by the Dutch and British.

" - well, for those who like it: lots of british people renting tents. children's entertainment in english. many leisure activities such as pony rides, archery etc. very anonymous, very large, very little contact with neighbors. very poor sanitary facilities. we were surprised how the rating in our travel guide and the reality were different. there was no camper feeling at all, thanks to the overwhelming number of rental tents it was more like package tourism. so we left after one day.

Profil

Parc de Fierbois campsite is a family campsite on the edge of a recreational lake, south of the Loire Valley in the Indre-et-Loire department. Adventure trails, tree houses and a water paradise: everything you need to give children a fantastic …holiday. Enjoy your comfort pitch with its own sanitary facilities, play a game of billiards at the bar and cool off in one of the swimming pools. You can choose between a comfort pitch on the shady edge of the forest and a large pitch for campers on a lawn with a more open character. Some pitches have their own sanitary facilities, which means more luxury. Besides chalets, mobile homes and holiday homes, you can also rent a tree house. The climbing trail by the lake is also great fun for children. The lake itself offers a variety of activities for anglers and water sports enthusiasts. Children can experience even more water fun in the water park on the campsite. The bar in the water park has a large terrace and often live music. In the bar, you will find an arcade with, among other things, pool tables. The campsite also has a separate restaurant and a supermarket with a wide range of products. If you have some time, you should visit the magnificent castles of the Loire, such as Amboise, Chenonceau, Villandry or Cheverny, or Chinon, and you will taste some great wines from our region, Chinon and Bourgueil, Vouvray and Montlouis.
