We received a very friendly welcome at reception and were allocated a pitch straight away, we were able to complete our registration later. The adjacent main road can hardly be heard, the sanitary facilities are a bit outdated, but well... maintained and clean. Unfortunately there is no market on the site, but there is a bread roll service which is sufficient.

I was there with the caravan for 8 nights and had great weather.
By bike to Meersburg 4 km, you really don't need a car.
Especially recommended, ask at the reception for a bike map, there are great routes in it that you can easily ride with the e-bikeSamodejno prevedeno. - Barbara W.October 2022PozitivnoChoice of several pitches, new showersNegativnosee textLocated directly on Lake Constance, beautiful pitchesThe campsite is located directly on Lake Constance. Booking was easy and the reception was friendly. We were able to choose between several free pitches. The pitches were large enough. The showers are new, unfortunately the rest of the sanitary facilities have not yet been renovated. There is only one... single wash cubicle in the 2nd sanitary building, which is of course usually occupied. There is a restaurant on the site with delicious pizza and gas exchange, unfortunately there was no gas available, it should only arrive in 3 days. We then got gas at the neighboring campsite. At night, especially in the morning, you can hear the road above the campsite, but you get used to it. It's not far from the campsite to Hagnau, and the cycle path starts directly from the campsite. The campsite also has its own section of beach.Samodejno prevedeno.

The other staff are very friendly. Everything is clean and well-kept. The beach to Lake Constance is close by. There is no small grocery store on the site, but there are places to shop nearby. We had a large pitch (WoWa 8m/2.5m) and the pitches in our area were also sufficiently sized or were allocated according to the size of the vehicle.
The water points are beautifully designed.
The B31 is... within earshot, so if you are sensitive to noise, you should avoid the site (and many others on Lake Constance). It didn't bother us.
The cycle paths on and around the lake are well developed and signposted.
There is plenty to see or simply relax on the large sunbathing lawn.
The access to the lake is quite shallow. It was still far too cold for us to swim.
The restaurant is ok, but in our opinion the price/performance ratio is a bit off.
The sanitary facilities were always clean. The shower time of 4 minutes with a chip was super sufficient. The machine is integrated into the shower column.
We can recommend the campsite without reservation and will certainly stay there again.Samodejno prevedeno. - C. M.September 2019PozitivnoLocated directly on the lake and on the hiking/biking trail.NegativnoWe can't think of any.A beautiful place centrally located on Lake ConstanceWe were given a paved pitch right by the lake (obviously a permanent pitch). This was not so good for setting up our awning. However, we could have chosen another free pitch. The pitches (including the so-called comfort pitches) are generally quite cramped, but that's probably the way it is here on Lake... Constance. Otherwise, we liked it very much. The toilet block was not far away and was perfectly clean and in good order. The restaurant apparently closes at the beginning of October and only had a limited menu at the end of September. The location of the campsite is great, not far to Meersburg, Friedrichshafen, Hagnau etc.Samodejno prevedeno.

From the very first telephone contact I had a friendly, helpful employee on the phone. Despite a stay of only 4 nights,... I got a pitch reservation. The site is clean and well organized. Both times we were very satisfied. Registration is very quick. Everything was well explained. We were given the choice of pitch. The showers now cost 50 cents for 4 minutes. But that's enough even with a hair wash. Sometimes there is even some money left over... for the next person in the shower. The Paltz is kept very clean. No garbage or full garbage cans. Everything was kept clean by the staff, who are also very friendly and courteous. The sanitary facilities were very clean, including the waste disposal station. Despite the cold and unstable weather with lots of rain, we were comforted by the view of the constantly changing moods across the lake and the long walk along... the lake in any direction was a pleasure even in bad weather. The hot and plentiful water in the shower and sink is also not a matter of course - we felt completely at ease and were also pleased that the street noise was only muffled on the lakeshore. - Barbara W.October 2018Pozitivnolarge pitches, great location on the lake, some pitches with lake viewNegativnoSanitarybeautifully situated but in need of improvementThe campsite is beautifully situated directly on the lakeshore, the site is laid out in terraces and you also have a partial view of the lake from the upper pitches. The pitches are large, which you don't get at other campsites on Lake Constance. Quiet on the pitch itself was good, unfortunately you... can hear the road above the pitch a bit - but we got used to it. The staff are very friendly. Bread roll service was no longer available in October (no problem, bread rolls are available in Hagnau, just a few minutes away) the restaurant was also closed. (but the one on the neighboring Alpenblick campsite was open) It would be a great place if it weren't for the sanitary facilities. They are still 70s standard, have been cleaned (the floor, it's better not to look higher, e.g. ventilation grilles in the showers) Unfortunately no individual wash cubicles, only 5 mini washbasins close together. The location and the view of the lake at any time of day or night are just great. You can also reach a lot by bike. Hagnau itself is also a nice place with many restaurants, winery etc.Samodejno prevedeno.
