The course is laid out in terraces. The most beautiful pitches are at the very bottom on the banks of the river, with quieter pitches at the top of the slope. There is an Italian restaurant on the site, which is not only... used by campers. When the public guests walk across the site at night, it is often disturbing. I was already lying in my tent when they walked right past it at night and talked loudly. The swimming pool also causes some traffic. The reception is large, modern and very friendly, the wash houses are new and spotlessly clean. Nevertheless, I wouldn't come here again. The site extends over several terraces towards a small river and is quite large. The reception is very friendly and the prices are quite reasonable. Rental... accommodation is also available, but is comparatively very expensive. The site is surprisingly quiet - Saint Claude is a crossroads - and is a good starting point for all kinds of activities in the Jura. There is a simple restaurant on site and you can order bread for the morning. Other amenities in St. Claude about 1km away. WIFI is chargeable !Samodejno prevedeno.

The operators are very helpful and friendly (communication in English as an alternative to French is very good). The "rear" part of the site (towards the neighboring swimming pool, which apparently closes for... the season at the end of August) is already closed off in mid-September. The campsite's own restaurant is also likely to close at the end of the French high season. WLAN is free of charge. The sanitary facilities are not first class, but are good and well maintained according to the standard of the site. The pitches are largely "worn out" (end of the season; hot summer 2015), i.e. little grass and especially in rainy weather you tend to have a lot of "Batz" on your shoes. Due to the terracing, there are shady spots down by the river, which are idyllic (sound of water), but also somewhat "dark". The higher places are sunnier, but due to the location in a narrow valley, they are certainly not flooded with light during the day.Samodejno prevedeno.
- M. B.junij 2011Campsite located directly on the river, 1.5 km to St. Claude. Restaurant, baguette service, free use of swimming pool, new sanitary facilities. Situated at the entrance to the "Gorges du Flumen" with magnificent waterfalls and a boxwood forest with beautiful flora - well worth seeing! - All the trees... are overgrown with thick, hanging bearded lichen! In St. Claude there is a market on Saturdays, all stores for daily and extraordinary needs, both small shops and supermarkets. Cute little mountain town, famous for pipe making and diamond cutting.
