"Pearl of northern Portugal - The campsite is located directly on the lake and is ideal for all kinds of water sports. The beaches are completely empty, so everyone can lie on their own. The staff in the restaurant are very friendly and helpful. The focus is not on the management of the campsite, but on the overall concept of lake, nature, restaurant and campsite. In the evenings, many people from the surrounding villages come to enjoy the idyllic setting. The sanitary facilities are cleaned twice a day and are oversized for the clarity of the site. The reception has been moved to the restaurant, which is completely correct and fine. If you want to take a breather either after the long journey to Portugal or before the return journey, this is the place for you. The prices in the restaurant are very low for the very good quality and the two of us in the caravan included. Electricity was €19 in the high season (early August). An absolute top destination!

"Excellent for relaxing - It's an excellent park for relaxing and disconnecting from the daily stress of the city. It's not suitable for children as there's no playground, no swimming pool and the terrain is very hilly (only the areas for tents are flat). As it's a very small park, I recommend making a reservation in high season, mentioning the size of the tent. I rated the park as good because my aim was to relax in the park and have fun in the river and hiking. If I had been with small children, I would have rated it differently (you can't get around with baby carriages).
