"Personnel - In general, there is no care at all. Even when the site was flooded this year, none of the staff looked after the guests. Not to mention asking the permanent campers if everyone got away safely or if help was needed. There is still plenty of room for improvement here. Mr. König did not even show his face at this event.

"Apart from the sanitary facilities, I was completely satisfied. - Perhaps the concept with the sanitary area should be re-evaluated. There was very little space. The smell was also not very inviting.

"Nice stay with potential for improvement - We enjoyed our stay so far. The campsite is basic but has a great location. The sanitary facilities are basic but were always very clean. An extension to the washing-up facilities would be great, as well as additional ventilation, as it was very hot and stuffy. With one exception, the staff were very friendly and helpful. We found it bad that there was no news about the weather. A simple notice on the notice board or a flyer on arrival would have sufficed.

"Short spontaneous excursion - Very nice place. Arrival and departure went smoothly. Large playground and lots of grass. Ideal for children to let off steam. Everyone was very friendly, the staff and the neighbors. We would love to come back.

Profil

The campsite is located directly on the coast of the North Sea, between Cuxhaven and Bremerhaven in the great holiday region of Cuxland/Wurster Land. It is located right in front of an embankment, providing you with a completely free view …of the North Sea and the mud flats in front of it. Not just watersports fans, cyclists and sun lovers come here, but nature-lovers too. From walking in the mud flats up to the shell and seal shores, bathing in the open sea to the haul of returning shrimp boats - if you spend your camping holiday on the North Sea coast by Wurst you can hear the sea breathe. The Lower Saxony embankment museum in Dorum shows the history of the construction of the embankment on the Lower Saxony coast. It is the only museum in Europe which exclusively deals with the topic of the construction of embankments and coastal protection. You also shouldn't miss a visit to the ""Obereversand"" light tower, also renowned as the highest light tower in the mud flats of Wurst, and enjoy the view over land and sea. By the way: The Campingpark Spieka/Wattenmeer, located on a green meadow, is also managed by Campingpark Dorum.
