We were offered a new one, but it was surrounded by permanent campers who had a lot of visitors at the weekend and also had loud arguments.
It was a shame that there were no shopping facilities on the site; the restaurant was only open on 4 days.

We booked a pitch for the first row with a view of the lake (at the boat landing stage), unfortunately you couldn't enjoy it because the reeds ect. so high, this would have to be kept shorter if the place is advertised like... this.
The water in the showers was unfortunately ice cold from 9.00 am, both for women and men, not great with children.
The bathing area is well laid out.

The site is extremely quiet, as there are many permanent campers and few tourists arriving and departing.
During our stay there was no restaurant and no bread service, i.e. early to the supermarket every day and looking for a pub in the evening.
Staff are very nice and helpful.
The pitch and the sanitary facilities are very, very clean.

The bistro with shopping facilities on the campsite is closed on certain days.Satisfied all round. We will definitely be back.We visited the campsite as a family (1 child, 4 years old). We received a very friendly welcome on arrival and a lot of effort was made to explain/show us around the site. The groundsman and staff were always friendly and very helpful if we had any questions. - Annett M.July 2018PozitivnoConvenient locationNegativnomany permanent campers with too much garden and tourist pitches in the middleCampsite???The best thing first, super nice staff, good sanitary facilities, which could be better maintained, although it must be mentioned that the ceramics were clean, and beautiful surroundings. Unfortunately, we had the impression of being on an allotment site and not on a campsite. The site is large and very... busy with permanent campers and there really are several of them who have an extra party tent in front of the awning. As they don't have their own part of the site but are mixed in with the tourists, we find this very stressful. In addition, apart from arrivals and departures, the amount of car traffic on the site is unusually high. Unfortunately, we cannot recommend this campsite to anyone, and we are really sorry for the staff.Samodejno prevedeno.
- HEIKO K.June 2018Pozitivno- Location - Peace and quiet - LakeNegativno- Sanitary (but you can do something about it ...IA week of relaxation on Lake KrakowCentrally located to Müritz and Rostock, directly on Lake Krakow. We had a hot week; the Krakower See is ideal for swimming. Water quality in June was good in my opinion. The campsite team was absolutely committed and super nice. Weekly newspaper was brought directly to the awning - thank you! Supply... otherwise ok - bread rolls on site, otherwise shopping around the corner by bike. Restaurant on site used once - good quality caught. For a camper restaurant but high level - tenant has changed according to info / permanent campers scolded badly ... We liked it for once. Bicycle paths directly on Krakower See sufficient for a week - we had seen everything. Excursion to the Müritz absolutely recommendable - cycle from Waren via Federow. There is a restaurant there called Die Bunte Kuh. I've never seen an egg pancake with fresh fruit like it - an insider tip. A quick word about the campsite - characterized by permanent campers - quiet during the week and busy at the weekend. The permanent campers in our corner were very welcoming to tourists - we were given a more than friendly welcome. However, I wouldn't have liked to stand in any of the permanent campers' corners - but that's probably always the case But there is one point of criticism - dear camping team. Mold in the showers is unacceptable. There are appropriate products for this, which I also use regularly at home. All in all, a decent place for a week, for a few days of rest and excursions in the surrounding area.Samodejno prevedeno.
- Harald K.November 2017PozitivnoDirectly on the lakeNegativnoNo "reasonably fast" InternetThe East without fast InternetI was the only guest here in November. 95% of the site is occupied by permanent campers, hardly any of whom were there. I limit myself to the internet access. A hotspot was installed at the reception 3 months ago. According to the very friendly staff, it only reaches to the edge of the area where the... pitches are - a typical reception hotspot. With a repeater on the caravan, however, I had very good reception directly at the lake (pitch 151, in my opinion the best pitch here). They have installed a "great system" (with password assignment, time limit, bandwidth allocation ....) and want to offer access for a fee next year. It's a shame because this is no longer the usual and sensible approach. The real problem, however, is that the site does not have "fast Internet". At the best of times you have 1Mbit (says the staff) for everything - including the private apartment above reception. What are they trying to sell? I had 0.15 Mbit most of the time (at the reception and at the lake). The site is therefore located in an area where politicians have been trying unsuccessfully for years to establish "fast internet" so that these areas are not left behind economically.Samodejno prevedeno.

The catering staff on the site were also all very friendly. It's just a shame that they don't open until 9am and you don't get your bread rolls until then. The sanitary facilities were very easily accessible, at... ground level and well thought out. Large shower cubicles, lots of shelves. Unfortunately, there were a few small spots of mold in the showers, but all in all we really liked it and would come back again!Samodejno prevedeno.

Joachim B.September 2016PozitivnoGreat location * cleanliness * quietNegativnoOnly bread rolls available on the pitch out of seasonVery clean place in a great locationThe site itself and the sanitary facilities (we used the newer building) make a very clean impression. The showers are free of charge. Apart from the few usual noises from the campers themselves, it is quiet here. No road noise, just the occasional motorboat on Lake Krakow. The staff are very friendly.... The only pity was that the campers' meeting place with attached kiosk was no longer open in the evenings from the beginning of September, contrary to the local profile (open until 30.09.). You could only buy bread rolls there between 8 and 09:30. Otherwise it was closed. Our pitch right on the beach was perfect. We had sun all day in front of the awning and at the same time the caravan was in the shade under the trees. Some people may find it a disadvantage that there is no WiFi here. But we were able to connect to the internet without any problems using a USB stick we had brought with us. Many people here have their own satellite dishes for TV reception. We were able to watch public channels (Das Erste, ZDF, NDR, MDR, RBB, 3sat, ZDF info) via DVB-T antenna, although the alignment to the west (Schwerin transmitter) was tricky. There are plenty of short and day trip destinations (Güstrow, Plau am See, Malchow, Waren) and many cycling opportunities on mostly flat terrain. Raft trips are possible on the lake, and boats and bicycles can also be hired. Shopping is possible in Krakow (Edeka, ALDI, Netto), about 3 km away. Restaurants (Zum grünen Garten, Treff) are within walking distance. This place is really recommendable.Samodejno prevedeno.- Michael P.July 2016Pozitivnogood locationHave a nice vacation...
