We were big fans of the beautiful natural pool, the playgrounds, the large pitches and the washrooms. We were also very impressed by the catering! The music was especially great! At last, no annoying radio droning but selected music that really suited the audience. In general, the atmosphere in the whole place was really great! The staff were friendly and totally helpful. We thought of the following things as small improvements: - Awnings in the natural pool area for shade would be great! - a heated baby pool by the natural pool would be a dream - shower heads in the family showers could be made child-sized (suggestion from our son ;))Negativno- somewhat few shady spotsSuper child-friendly and cozyWe will definitely be back! Everything from the canteen to the kiosk, the playgrounds (one for children up to about three years old and one for children from about three years old) to the sanitary facilities is modern and thematically coordinated, the "Pott" is omnipresent... here. The food is simple but very tasty and no matter which member of staff you speak to, everyone is very friendly, helpful, has a smile on their face and enjoys their work (at least that's how it seemed to us). The highlight for us was the natural pool, where there are no chemicals or artificial filters at all and only natural filtration such as gravel and plants, which we really liked, apart from the fact that the facility is beautifully laid out and well maintained. Thanks to the different depths of the bathing areas, everyone feels comfortable here, whether big or small. All in all, we think it's a very nice place, especially for young families, but everyone can relax here, regardless of age. As we were only there for a few days to test our folding caravan, we were unfortunately unable to explore the surrounding area.Samodejno prevedeno.

Great offer for the kids with playground and pump track as well as outdoor pool.NegativnoOne tiny little drawback: the sinks don't have plugs. It would be nice if they were just there, with a chain on them, then they wouldn't get lost. (There were still some in the fall, so I assume that they were stolen)Great place for familiesA great place for anyone camping as a family and looking for peace and quiet. Nothing for party mad teenagers. Ideal with children (8 and 11 years), as the pump track and the great outdoor pool mean there is also something for the older kids. The pitches are all nice and large, well surfaced (no muddy... mess despite the rain) and have water, waste water and electricity connections.
The sanitary buildings are well equipped and were always clean despite the site being fully booked over the Whitsun period.
The team does a really great job and the concept of the site is simply fantastic. The site is also very cheap, we have two small dogs for which we have to pay a lot of fees on other sites - not here!
Really the only mini-mini criticism is the sinks.
There are no plugs for the sinks (they were still there in the fall). It would be nice to have plugs here, possibly with a chain, so that they don't get "legs" again so quickly. For example, our washing-up bowl was too big for the basin, and rinsing it under running water is not particularly sustainable.
But as I said, that's really the only thing you can complain about. Otherwise really great!

There is also a section with permanent campers. The sanitary facilities are top notch; really first class. The restaurant is also really very good, beautiful industrial culture paired... with delicious food from the Ruhrpott!
The operators and the boss of the restaurant are super friendly and do everything to make the guest feel comfortable here (I'll just say: "sample pieces of shashlik" ;-))
A big thank you to the restaurant :-)

All the people who work there were very friendly, good-humored and open.
Whether it was the cleaner of the sanitary building or the boss himself, everyone was very nice and ready for a quick chat.
Our children took advantage of the... vacation craft activities or were out and about on the campsite and quickly made friends.
We adults enjoyed the quiet site and the surroundings for walking the dogs.
As it rained a lot, the pitch and the plot were often under water, so if you had wellies with you, you were well off. :)
Perhaps something could be done about this and the washing-up areas could be made more sheltered from the weather. When it rains and the wind blows, you can get wet there, which is not so nice
Hot water for rinsing would also be good.
Catering on the pitch is good.
The selection of dishes is suitable and tastes very good.
We think the prices are too high and next time we will probably prefer to go into town to buy the children a portion of chips. :)

Spontaneous change of pitch on arrival (mud due to constant rain) was possible without any problems,... taking into account other bookings.
Bread roll orders were possible via digital guest folder and affordable.
For "emergency purchases" there is a 24/7 vending machine kiosk and also a vending machine with grilled meat, among other things.
We liked the site overall. The pitches (Westerholt in our case) are big enough for a family caravan with awning and towing vehicle next to it. The sanitary facilities are modern, functional and always clean.
Spontaneous change of pitch on arrival (mud due to constant rain) was possible without any problems, taking into account other bookings.

The food on site is delicious and also offers vegan versions of some dishes. However, the prices are not for those on a tight vacation budget: 4x currywurst chips and mayo will set you back a pretty meteoric 35 euros.
If you're self-catering, you can use the covered but open-air washing-up areas afterwards. Certainly a nice thing in good weather. For us it was rainy and windy, so it's no fun. A weather-protected alternative would have been nice (but that's complaining on a high level, you can also wash up in the camper van)
We didn't use the natural swimming pool due to the weather, but it's on the agenda for next time.
The playgrounds were sufficient for our children (5,8).
