Operated only sporadically, the menu is very modest, as is the taste of the food on offer. There doesn't seem to be a chef. There is room for improvement here.Camping ok, food oh my!We would love to come back because of the location on the Neckar, especially suitable for dogs. Unfortunately, that wasn't possible, so we went there on the off-chance. On the day of arrival, we called again from the road and were told that there was still 1 space available. Unfortunately, this was already taken... on arrival, but an emergency pitch could be made available. Due to the high fluctuation on the campsite, we got a nice, flat pitch the next morning.
The site itself is quite small and manageable, motorhomes, caravans and tents are separated from each other, the atmosphere is very friendly and accommodating.
A small bistro with a garden offers small meals and drinks, and a kiosk sells a few everyday items.
The sanitary facilities are clean and well maintained.
Direct access by stairs to the Neckar, swimming in summer, but still a little too cold in May.
All in all, a very nice place with the only drawback that it is not possible to book in advance, as we had no alternative to this campsite. We were looking for a place for one night on our way north and didn't arrive until around 8pm. The lady at reception was not friendly and seemed rather annoyed. The pitch allocated to us was small, but sufficient... for our small caravan. It was annoying that we weren't allowed to leave our caravan attached and even the direction in which we should park it was prescribed.... "Otherwise there will be problems" (what problems?)... Sanitary facilities simple, but okay. Restaurant more like a chip shop... the smell there drifted into the reception room and all my clothes smelled of old frying fat, although I had never entered the "restaurant"... WLAN free and fast, could even watch Netflix in the evening... Price rather high, 2 adults, 1 child, a small team: 37.50 euros.Samodejno prevedeno.

When the CP barrier is closed, there is no parking space for cars, motorhomes or even caravans in front of it. Why is it not open all day to avoid this problem? Registration after the lunch break?... Reservation not possible. Friendly trainee at reception. Groundsman from friendly to rude with his guests. Small, no demarcation recognizable, flat grass / gravel pitches in the front part of the square above the Neckar, quiet location, separated for WoMo and WW. Lower-lying bank lined with vegetation, inaccessible or difficult to reach, sometimes with smelly grass and hedge trimmings. Sanitary facilities in good condition as long as you don't look up or down, pre-order bread rolls, clear price list, no visitor's tax, weak WLAN free of charge. Restaurant, more like a snack bar, with a very manageable menu. Bicycle rental station in front of CP without bicycles. Tübingen city center approx. 2km away, easily accessible on foot, by bike or bus. Car parking and bicycle parking difficult in Tübingen. Price, well I know cheaper CP.Samodejno prevedeno.- Jörg U.September 2019Supply/demand ratio seems to dominateOk, it was only for one night. The pitches (as in the first picture on the page) are no bigger than 40-50 square meters everywhere. We paid for it (2 adults, pitch, electricity, dog): 37.5 €. The dog cost €4 (for what?). Anyway, even for €33.5 this is far too expensive in comparison. Hence the assumption:... value is added as much as possible here. We have rarely experienced such a cramped campsite, and comparatively expensive at that. Otherwise: Sanitary ok to good, restaurant better snack quality, distance to the city center (center!) about 4km! Conclusion, after a 3-week vacation in Carinthia, on Lake Garda, Stams, a comparatively expensive disappointment. We will not be returning.Samodejno prevedeno.

Nice welcome, clean and spacious sanitary facilities, quiet and good location for excursions - be it to Tübingen in the old town (on foot), be it along the Neckar by bike. Direct supply on site with bread rolls, wine, restaurant... well guaranteed (if you are too exhausted from the excursions in the evening). Really beautiful and exemplary city campsite. Unfortunately no reservation possible. Our stay at the campsite was characterized by a pleasant, uncomplicated and friendly atmosphere. The sanitary facilities were carefully cleaned. The site is mainly used by travelers staying 1-2 nights. However, it is highly recommended for a longer... stay. The proximity to the city of Tübingen, the beautiful path along the Neckar and the many sights in the surrounding area invite you to enjoy a variety of leisure activities.Samodejno prevedeno.

Beautiful location directly on the Neckar and not far from the beautiful old town of Tübingen. The sanitary facilities are newly renovated, modern and always clean. Showers are free of charge. However, after weeks in the south of France and northern Italy, we were shocked by the way people treated us. Not only had we never heard of a midday rest period on a campsite and therefore never heard of a ban on entering... and leaving, but when we rang the site manager, we were only told briefly and concisely over the intercom that we would only be spoken to again after the lunch break - and then simply hung up. As I persevered and the grounds manager came out later, I was finally able to make our exit (to a wedding), but I had to put up with a lot of inconvenience up to that point: asking and begging in a friendly manner, even though I was approached in a brash manner; ignoring the ejection until 4 pm (would have been impossible); condoning the subsequent ejection the next day ... The groundsman took advantage of his position of power due to the closed barrier and apparently enjoyed it. Terrible! And I never once heard his wife (?), with whom we otherwise had to deal, speak a friendly word or smile at us. We will never come back. And the owner couple (?) should be advised to do an internship abroad, break down barriers and learn to be friendly.Samodejno prevedeno.

The sanitary facilities were clean and adequate for the time of year. The "hosts" were always friendly and entertaining. In the evenings we were served local specialties just like at home, which we enjoyed very much.... Tübingen can be reached by bus or in 15 - 20 minutes on foot. Beautiful old town with many sights.
