"Very cordial operators - We felt at home as soon as we arrived. We really enjoyed the warm welcome and information. The site offers everything you need. The sanitary facilities were always clean and everything we needed was available. The surrounding area is also suitable for cycling and hiking. There are also plenty of bathing spots.

"Aggressive money devils - It all seemed very nice, but suddenly on arrival there were additional costs that were not indicated. Then at check out again extra costs, had to pay another 60 euros. I indicated not to pay this then I was locked up and the owner (man) began to talk aggressively to us, while our daughter of 2 was alone in the car. So we just paid.

"Great place, great people - The site is beautifully situated by the water and has a great tree population. The operators are extremely friendly and helpful and go out of their way for their guests. A clear recommendation from me, even for longer stays.

"Space for a relaxing vacation - We were here in the chaotic year of 2021. We chose this campsite because of the overcrowded campsites on the German Baltic coast and were pleasantly surprised. The campsite is very family-run. A little chat and a few tips are always available, even after reception closes. The site was well organized, clean and quiet. It is an ideal starting point for Lolland / Falster. So we were able to experience a lot even on cloudy days. We really enjoyed the large family showers. We can recommend this campsite without reservation.

"very nice family place - This site is rather manageable in size with 140 pitches. The operators are extremely friendly and helpful. German is spoken. I can only agree with my predecessors. The site is very quiet and the location right on the water is simply beautiful. Many a 5 star campsite can take a leaf out of its book. The sanitary facilities were clean every day. Unfortunately there is no water connection on site. But the waste disposal stations are within walking distance. There is a Netto supermarket nearby.

"Beautiful campsite - We were there as a family with a tent! Clean sanitary facilities, very nice operators and a great location! We will definitely be back!

Profil

On the Danish island of Lolland, the beautiful Nysted Strand Camping is located on the edge of a bay. Whether you are planning a hiking holiday, a bike tour or just want to spend time with the family, this campsite …in the countryside is the place for you. You can go swimming, fishing or sea canoeing, for example. Of course, you can also just relax with a book on the beach or take a walk to the nearby harbour town of Nysted. Look forward to a Danish restaurant, a grocery store and cottages with a private terrace. Nysted Strand Camping is a tidy, green campsite divided into different pitches. You also have the option of renting bungalows, hikers' cabins, mobile homes and apartments. The pitches are spacious and the sanitary facilities are clean. There are also special facilities for families and children on the site, as well as accessible sanitary facilities. The campsite is located directly on the water and you can quickly reach the beach from all pitches. For campers who are on the road a lot, there are practical facilities, as well as a kitchen and a communal barbecue area. All cottages include a refrigerator, tea/coffee maker and dining area. At Nysted Strand Camping & Cottages, you can choose between private and shared bathroom facilities. Some cottages also have a TV. Pets are allowed on the camping pitches and in all cabins. At Nysted Strand Cottages, you can play mini golf, billiards and table tennis. Other shared facilities include a large kitchen and barbecue facilities. You can also rent bicycles on site. Activities in the surrounding area include windsurfing, beach volleyball and swimming. Knuthenborg Safari Park is 32 km away, while the waterpark Lalandia is 40 minutes away by car from the property.
