- Manfred N.September 2018PozitivnoFantastic view Great southern region Good tariff Grandiose hinterland, within a few kilometers up to 1200mNegativnoSteep Partial road noise (lower areas) Little infrastructureWonderful view, very terracedI was there with the tent in the dedicated tent area: super cheap, great view but continuous noise from the road. I'm actually sensitive to noise. But I quickly got used to the constant noise level. The view for tents is always great there, insanely good. The pitches for campers are a few meters further... up. The road leading up there is very steep, with an average gradient of around 15%, and very winding. But it is quieter and the view is still outstanding. Apart from the wonderful view and the impeccable beach, the place has little to offer, but at least it has a playground, a baketball court and a tennis court. If you can live with having to take steep roads to the beach and make do with little infrastructure, you could be very happy here.Samodejno prevedeno.
- Lisa H.September 2017PozitivnoFantastic view Great Ristorante Quiet placeNegativnoNot so great sanitary facilities Cold showersFantastic view, unfortunately minimal sanitary facilitiesBeautifully situated with a fantastic sea view and now - in mid-September - almost empty. Pitches for caravans with sea view approx. 6m long and separated by fences. Showers cold to lukewarm despite insertion of shower token. Sanitary facilities overall really only basic facilities. But the great view... and the great restaurant at the entrance make up for it. You can buy bread in the store in the morning. The beach club on the beach had already closed in mid-September. All in all, we felt very comfortable here.Samodejno prevedeno.
- Katharina H.September 2017PozitivnoFriendly staff Restaurant goodNegativnoaccess route Sanitary facilities Very steep slopeNot really a campsite...I don't think this place should be declared a campsite. The approach to the few pitches is adventurous. The pitches are paths directly on the slope. Too dangerous with small children in my opinion! The "mountain" is full of mobile homes. The beach can be reached via an underpass. There is a beach bar... there. The restaurant was good. As already mentioned, the electricity with only 3 amps is not even enough for the coffee machine. Price in September for one night=20 euro! For travelers ok who are not dependent on the sanitary facilities. Not at all suitable for small children! Running bike or cycling is not possibleSamodejno prevedeno.
- Martin S.June 2015Pozitivno-Very quiet -Good view -Friendly staff -Wash basin and electricity at every pitch -Restaurant and store on siteNegativno-Power connection only 3A -Very narrow and steep access road -Sanitary facilities very old -Lack of fall protection for children -No playgroundVery quiet placeThe site is in a very quiet location on the mountain. We had a great view of the sea from our pitch. The approach is very difficult, especially with a long caravan or motorhome with a long overhang, as the road is very narrow, especially the penultimate 270° bend with a steep incline. The pitches are... OK, pitch no. 1 is unfortunately very sloping, it was not possible to align the caravan straight. There is a washbasin and an electricity connection at each pitch. The power connection is unfortunately only fused with 3A, which is not even enough for the hairdryer or the coffee machine, an RCD is available. It is very quiet on the pitch and there was hardly any traffic when we were there. The staff are friendly and helpful and also speak English. The free beach is a stone beach, the way there is very difficult, on the one hand you have to take a bumpy staircase through the underpass of the main road, on the other hand the path leads over a beaten track between the back wall of the beach bar and the railroad tracks. Alternatively, there is the beach at BABA Beach, which costs EUR 25 for 2 sunbeds and an umbrella. The sanitary facilities are very old but mostly clean. Unfortunately there is no hot water anywhere except in the showers, but there it is not adjustable and you need a token (0.50EUR), running time approx. 3 minutes, can be interrupted. If you are lucky you will find a shower where the light works. The sockets are almost all defective or missing. In the 2nd sanitary facility only 1 toilet was accessible, this unfortunately not for sitting down, the 3 other rooms were locked, as I was told by another visitor, some permanent campers do this and see these toilets as their "private toilet", the same applies to some showers. Internet reservation is cumbersome and not automated and you have to transfer a deposit, online credit card payment is not possible. You are given a CHIP and can therefore drive back onto the site at any time, even at night. The car is given a parking card and can be parked anywhere, which is particularly practical if you don't want to walk the distance from the parking space to the beach (approx. 800m and 90 meters in altitude) then you can drive the most difficult part of the route by car and park near the exit. However, the car costs extra. Unfortunately, there is no fall protection on all the pitches, which is particularly dangerous with small children as it is a steep descent. We did not visit the restaurant or store. No children's playgroundSamodejno prevedeno.
- J. K.July 2014PozitivnoPriceless view Quiet Super restaurant Free choice of pitch Nice staff Also shady pitchesNegativnoVery steep approach Road and railroad line below the site Sanitary facilities outdated and not clean A little off the beaten trackupdate July 2016The journey is quite arduous, but really worth it. You can choose your own pitch and check-in is relatively quick. The pitches are surprisingly clean, have a wonderful view and are even shady. There is a kiosk and a delicious restaurant on site, so you can get everything you need at reasonable prices.... A bus line connects the campsite with the surrounding towns, but pay attention to the day of the week otherwise you have to take a cab back and the "bus stops" are also very adventurous. The private beach is well located but I found the gravel and very abrupt litter annoying and not recommended for children. All in all, however, this is a very worthwhile place to visit. Update: Not much has changed, actually rather nothing unfortunately, had hoped that the sanitary situation would have slowly improved, unfortunately this was not the case.Samodejno prevedeno.
- Felix v.August 2013I spontaneously drove over by car in August, the main thing was sun and beach. We called or drove to almost all the campsites between Genoa and Ventimiglia that were right by the sea. Monti e Mare was not on our list of favorites in advance, but it absolutely surprised us, and in a positive way At... 3x5m, our tent was too big for almost all campsites, and not even affordable for this one. Not only did the friendly Italian receptionists make numerous phone calls for us in order to be able to get a possibly smaller tent in the surrounding supermarkets, they also finally offered us the words "You're welcome. We want you to have a nice holiday" and offered us a sufficiently large campsite for less money. The service really is amazing! Nothing is impossible, the friendly, helpful and open mentality is just great! However, it should also be clear that this campsite is located on a mountain, which means that you have to climb quite a bit every day. Nevertheless, only the promenade road separates it from the water. The beach is great, with a sandy beach right on the doorstep There are beach discos a short distance away, which are particularly popular with Italians. A short trip to France (e.g. Monaco for around €10-15 per person by bus and train) is also possible! The bus leaves directly in front of the campsite. There is a very small supermarket, a bar and a restaurant at the campsite, nothing earth-shattering, but you can get the essentials and the people are super friendly. The sanitary facilities are also perfectly fine. Pretty clean and not outdated. Showers cost 50 cents, so everything is within reason. Many of the people we met seemed to have come to this place and this beach specifically for this reason, and we heard the words "insider tip" more than once. But we had a great week and can only recommend this campsite. Totally great Samodejno prevedeno.
- Ruth G.May 2013Friendly reception. Campsite on a slope, separated from the beach by a more or less busy road. There is no access on foot - you have to use the car to reach the next village. No food available at the campsite. Direct view of the sea from most pitches. Sanitary facilities rather poor - 3-minute showers... cost 50 cents, and the water temperature fluctuates constantly between boiling hot and cold. Otherwise, the campsite apparently has no hot running water. The sanitary facilities are probably only cleaned from time to time. Many permanent camping pitches; however, when we were there there was very little going on.Samodejno prevedeno.
- Christa J.July 2012We were very impressed by the resort, the view of the sea and the value for money. With a few exceptions, the site is a vacation resort with permanent residents. Caravan drivers are advised not to arrive on a Sunday. Some of the pitches for caravans/motorhomes are on the highest part of the site. The... approach is quite steep, and additional vehicles parked by visitors at the weekend make it difficult to get there. The staff are very friendly. The pizzeria on site offers very tasty dishes and the site is kept very clean. The overall organization corresponds to the relaxed Italian style. Overall, we were very satisfied.Samodejno prevedeno.
- tom w.June 2012The site is on a steep mountain ridge. This gives you a great view, but you also have to climb around 80 meters (if you are at the top) to get a bread roll. A beautiful private bay belongs to the campsite. The site management is very friendly, the sanitary facilities are very dated. The site is dominated by permanent campers. This makes it very quiet. Up on the mountain you don't even notice the coastal road.Samodejno prevedeno.
- Venturini M.August 2011I saw on their site that they had a. 50 per cent sale after the 16 th of August.the price for 2 people plus 1 tent was 12 euros after the discount! That is unbeatable in Liguria in the month of August.we really enjoyed the stay although it was very crowded due to the period.next year we will go back in june when the discounted price should be around 6 euros (during the week)Samodejno prevedeno.

- giovanni m.May 2011I had a great time. To celebrate the campground's 50th anniversary they gave a 50% discount on rates so I paid 10 euros for 2 people+car+tent......a snap!. the psoto is beautiful and the weather was spectacular. i will be back!"Samodejno prevedeno.
- anfrea d.May 2011The location is great ,right by Alassio and with its own private beach. The tent pitches are very scenic as they all have great sea views. The sanitary facililities are ok. The restaurant and pizzeria are great.Samodejno prevedeno.
