Rarely have we experienced such a helpful, friendly crew.
The sanitary facilities are modern and always very clean and well maintained (which also speaks for the campers).
The site is close to the village (within walking distance), where you can buy... everything you need.
SUP and canoes are available to hire at moderate prices.
Small store with snacks and homemade cakes.
We will definitely be back.

in Neukalen on the Peene. We had a comfort pitch that could have easily accommodated 2 caravans. The bathing area is more for cooling off than swimming, but it's perfect for families with children who want to learn how to swim. The staff are super friendly and, above... all, uncomplicated. The sanitary facilities... simply top! High praise indeed! Would have been a nice customer service. There was no extractor fan in the shower and the electricity didn't work either, but this was fixed straight away. We camped on the site for 3 nights with 3 other friends. The site was very clean, as were the sanitary facilities, and the campsite has a lovely location by the water with a swimming area in the small village.... There are also 2 supermarkets in the area. We received a warm welcome and were always asked if we were happy. We could well imagine vacationing here again... The Peenecamp is highly recommended for a long weekend or a relaxed 2-week vacation!Samodejno prevedeno.

Very friendly campsite management. Great bike tour around the Kummerowersee. Just the thing if you want to slow down quickly. You can go canoeing on the natural Peene and enjoy nature very well. Good value for money.NegativnoBarrier times, the simple plots too small, access via an Ostalgie pavement which causes concern for the shock absorbers.I liked it better from day to dayAfter I arrived at the entrance to the square, shaken by the Ostalgie pavement, my first impression was not so good. At first glance, the main building didn't look very inviting, which is probably also due to the armored plate driveway up to the barrier. Everything was a bit cramped and I was a little... worried about my shock absorbers. The reception was very friendly and you were personally escorted to your pitch. The normal pitches are a bit small, but equipped with multifunctional columns (water, electricity and waste water) and surrounded by shady trees. A bread roll service directly to the awning is offered if ordered in advance (great) and you can eat snacks in the bistro belonging to the site. The very small bathing area was also disappointing at first glance, but later I really enjoyed swimming like a pirate between the boathouses. There is little to report about the village of Neukalen. A restaurant, a kebab shop, a bakery and a supermarket just outside. Frankly, I wouldn't want to hang dead over the fence there. Not exactly nice. The surrounding area is all the more beautiful for hiking and cycling. The sanitary facilities are modern and clean. I find it a bit excessive that you are only allowed to enter them with the blue overcoats, which is very reminiscent of an intensive care unit. Well... The place has exactly what we are looking for and need on vacation. Peace and lots of nature in the Peene valley. The Peene flows right past the campsite and there is a small lido where you can swim or put your boat in the water.... Yesterday we went on a beaver tour with "Abenteuer Peenetal". We spotted 4 of the fellows, great cinema. But back to the campsite: perfect for us and, to emphasize in particular, the perfect infrastructure of the comfort pitches and the friendliness of the team. The Peenecamp will be a permanent fixture in our vacation calendar and we'll be back next year Brigitte and JürgenSamodejno prevedeno.
