Everything is very uncomplicated. The campsite manager walks around in the evening and collects money. There is no reception as such. The sanitary facilities were brand new in summer 2020, but quite tight. The two showers... lacked such rudimentary things as coat hooks and mirrors.
The campsite is laid out in terraces. At the bottom, you are beautifully situated directly on the fjord under trees. There are numerous fire pits here, which are also used diligently. For the campers on the terraces in the second and third row on the meadows, the constant smoke from the fire pits can be a bit annoying in the long run, as the wind usually blows from the fjord. In our opinion, a few fewer fire pits would do the trick.
Nevertheless, we can definitely recommend the site. It has a chilled atmosphere and there are an extraordinary number of leisure activities in the immediate vicinity.

Neither center nor school (something must have gotten mixed up) Lots of fire pits on the water with free firewood, small bathing jetty and small beach, free rowing boat and free WiFi. Simple but clean sanitary facilities. No check in. Just stand... there and the boss comes around in the evening to collect money. She lives above and has everything in view. We liked it very much. Well suited as a base for the Eidfjord region.Samodejno prevedeno.
