"In the vacation season cleanliness in the sanitary facilities mediocre in the off-season bad - Overall, we felt comfortable apart from the cleanliness of the sanitary facilities. However, this is only extreme in the off-season.

"Beautiful location characterized by prohibition signs - - The sanitary facilities are already quite old and outdated, but always clean. - The pitches are large. - In almost every location you know what to do as there is a prohibition sign telling you what to do. - The site manager comes across as very unfriendly, whereas the lady in the office is super friendly. - From my point of view, no place for dogs, as you are allowed to enter the sunbathing lawn with a leashed dog, but should look for a place in the area of the boat entrance - Very strange opening hours of the kiosk or simply a sign that it remains completely closed.

"Beautiful campsite right on the lake - Beautiful campsite with a very nice operator. Totally helpful and always willing to share his insider knowledge. Our pitch was large and had a direct view of the lake. The sanitary facilities are clean but also very old. The proximity to Salzburg and also to Berchtesgaden (salt mine) was ideal for us. We would love to come back!

"There is still room for improvement... - Stayed here for a few days in October. Can't quite understand the good reviews. The sanitary facilities are clean, but no longer up to date. The pitches are small and very soggy due to all the rain. Nobody can do anything about the rain, but they can do something about the muddy ground. A reasonably firm surface could be created here with plaster or gravel. The very loud, very long bell ringing at 6! (every morning), but that doesn't make it any quieter. The lake is great, by the way... But what doesn't work at all is the rental caravan on the right.... I had never seen anything like it: The door locks by itself (the key is inside), the hotplates are totally rusty, there are screws sticking out of the top of the fridge, the top cover is probably missing, and inside it goes on like this Nothing is repaired, let alone replaced. It should be thrown away... in my opinion.

Profil

Our campground (owned and run by the rural municipality of Taching) is a neat family-friendly site, which is personally and lovingly managed. It is located in a quiet area of outstanding natural beauty – on the banks of the warmest …lake of Upper Bavaria, the Waginger/Tachinger See. We provide comfortable sanitary facilities (incl. bathroom for disabled persons, room for baby care). Wide range of leisure activities: children’s playground/water play area, swimming, windsurfing, sailing, beach volleyball, table tennis, boccia, ample sunbathing areas, barbecue. Wireless LAN on all sites available for free. Our beach restaurant and kiosk offers fine food and a seaside terrace with a marvelous view on the lake. Well-trained dogs (on the leash) are allowed (on request). Caravans for rent. Excursions to Austria (Salzburg) and to the nearby alps are recommended. Various bike paths invite you to explore the historic and natural environment. We are pleased to assist you in planning your excursions and sightseeing activities. We are looking forward to welcome you in Taching am See.
