"Beautifully situated on the Werra - Camping is beautifully situated on the Werra,The Sanitary facilities are purposeful and recently renewed and are well kept clean. In the restaurant you can eat well although the menu is not very extensive. Every now and then a train passes by,but is not annoying. In the vicinity are beautiful walks, Hann-Munden is also worth a visit. Cycling is also fine on the old railroad connections. The Dutch owners do their best to make everyone comfortable. A dream location for canoeists. Given its location also suitable as overnight camping.

"Not suitable for vacation camping - The pitch is actually very nice. Unfortunately, the potential is not realized. The grass resembles a harvested hay field, the sanitary facilities reflect an amateurish renovation. The sanitary facilities are in urgent need of professional renovation. Gray water can only be disposed of at the disposal point by placing a bucket underneath, there is no floor inlet. Too much rotten wood has been used in the inn/beer garden. It would be better to do without the wood, then the terrace could also be cleaned. Overall, the inn, campsite and the associated facilities gave us a somewhat dirty impression.

"Spiegelburg near Hann.Münden - The CP is located directly on the Werra, about 7km from the city center of Hann.Münden. The pitches are generously laid out on a flat meadow area where you can really feel at home. The fact that you have to cross the little-used road to get to the reception and the sanitary buildings is not a problem. However, a sign for motorists or a speed limit would be appropriate. A mirror in the direction of the bus stop might also be advisable. The toilets and showers were always clean. However, the nozzles of the attached shower heads were a disaster. You have to jump back and forth to get all parts of your body sufficiently wet. The area around the main building was generally very untidy and unkempt. We also found the beer garden uninviting and therefore avoided it. Apart from that it was a nice vacation!

"Good place for canoeists - Eoin beautiful place directly on the Werra. Friendly operators and uncomplicated check-in. Nice restaurant on site. Well suited for canoeists on the Werra.

Camping Spiegelburg is situated on the Werra river bank, in the heart of the Hannoversch Münden nature reserve. Still, the camp site is only 5 minutes driving from highway A7, in between Kassel and Göttingen (exit 75). A place to …stay overnight on the passage through Germany or a base from which to discover the Weserbergland. The half-timbered village of Hann. Münden is six kilometers away. Our Restaurant "Zella" serves simple German and Dutch dishes and we speak English

Navodila

Most navigation systems know the address Zella 2 in Hannoversch Münden. Just in case you follow the map, you see to it that you find the Bundesautobahn 7 (E45). In between Kassel and Göttingen you find exit 75. Having taken …the exit you follow the brown signposts ‘Erlebnispark / Automuseum’ (do not follow the road signs to Hann. Münden). The signposts ‘Erlebnispark / Automuseum’ lead you through the city of Hedemünden and from there to a bridge over the Werra river. Once over the bridge you turn right (the camping site is already signposted) and after 3 kilometres, through the village of Oberode, you will have reached Zella im Werratal. In case you follow the instructions of your navigation system, you will be guided in the direction of Hann. Münden after having taken exit 75. Some six kilometres before you reach the village of Hann. Münden you will be directed over a bridge over the Werra. Once over the Werra you turn left (the camping site is already signposted), driving 900 metres back on the opposite river bank to reach Zella im Werratal.
