Price and performance out of proportion
The meadow area with fruit trees is fine, the pitches are not parceled out. But that doesn't matter, as there were hardly any other campers present. During our first stay in July, the price of €18 was ok, then in October we suddenly paid €24, which is clearly too expensive - a euro shower fee is added on top.
Operators are nice and help with questions.

You can always find our current prices on our website before your visit. We do not have an off-season, as we are open all year round.
Of course it is also possible to get a receipt from us, next time just ask :)

- Directly at the forest, in 1 minute on great walking paths e.g. through the Hardtschlucht gorge - 5 minutes to the supermarket & fresh bakery - Very dog-friendly - Friendly campsite residents who give you a warm welcome straight away

Family-friendly place with a wonderful view
I had an all-round great time at the forest campsite in Homberg Ohm and can highly recommend it to any traveler, the view of the valley alone is worth it!

A place to stay!
I've been a permanent camper at the Waldcamping site for a year now and I'm still thrilled! There is a warm and helpful atmosphere among the colorful mix of permanent campers, but holidaymakers (with children and dogs) also definitely like it here.

I particularly like the quiet location and the adjacent... forest, although the supermarket with bakery and post office is only a 5-minute walk away and offers everything that might not be growing in my garden.

Also worth mentioning is the outdoor pool (1 km on foot) and the excellent premium hiking trail "Schächerbachtour", as well as the regular events at Homberg Castle (e.g. concerts).

I've been to many other campsites, but I can definitely recommend this one without reservation :)
