"Not recommended - I can not recommend this campsite.we have been owners of a caravan on this campsite for 3 years.at first the operators were very nice,but since the Corona time have become very unfriendly.the place is close to the airfield,where planes take off every 10-20 min every day.this is sometimes very annoying,so we then drive daily rather to Dorum or Cuxhaven to the beach to have some peace and quiet.It takes a very long time for the hot water to come and you have to hold the shower head when showering, otherwise the water runs out after 10 seconds at the latest.the hairdryers in the women's washrooms don't work either and you have to go back to the caravan with wet hair.there are deep potholes in the driveway to the campsite. I hope it gets a little better here, I am now very disappointed and had imagined something else under vacation.

"Passing through - We were only on the site for one night with the motorhome, but were given a very friendly welcome by the owner and even received a tin of fish each as a welcome gift. The food in the restaurant was excellent and freshly prepared, we would love to come back, even for a few more days

"Very nice alternative to crowded places directly on the coast! - Very friendly welcome, we immediately felt welcome, very dog-friendly, there were even welcome gifts for humans and four-legged friends. We've never experienced that before! The sanitary facilities are clean and tidy and the price-performance ratio is excellent. Tourist destinations can be reached quickly by car. The pitches are generously sized, each pitch has a separate water connection and, apart from some old waste from permanent campers, the whole site looks tidy and well maintained.

"Insider tip with development potential - We (a married couple both 59) became aware of this beautiful place due to the corona pandemic. Nice welcome and the check-in was very friendly, informative and helpful. Nice large pitches are available. Sanitary facilities are immaculate. Clean, tidy... no luxury, but perfectly okay and acceptable without restrictions. There are plenty of opportunities for dog owners to walk their dogs. The kiosk sells pre-ordered bread rolls, draught beer and reasonably priced, hearty meals. The free summer pool is the highlight of this site. A great offer for children and adults during the summer vacations! The children's playground is nice and big and the free Kettcars are fun for children of all ages. It's about 15-20 minutes by car to Cuxhaven to the beaches or the city center. We didn't find this at all inconvenient. In the past, this campsite was probably dominated by permanent campers. Here you can still see some of the construction sins of the past decades. But this is a common problem on campsites these days. Time will solve the problem. In the meantime, many sites have already been "renovated" and the new trend is absolutely recognizable. There is plenty of space for tourist campers. There is something for every taste. Prices are very camper-friendly! A 3-month pitch costs € 350 plus tourist tax and electricity! A first-class offer! Conclusion: an insider tip for campers who are looking for peace and quiet and prefer family camping and have no problem accepting a certain distance for shopping or a visit to Cuxhaven. WE WILL BE BACK!
