"Camping near Rome - Great location of the campsite. Bus stop on the Metro right at the entrance to the campsite. Sandy beach 100m, pool for kids, cheap grocery store and restaurant, showers included, lots of shade under mature trees, poor Wi-Fi.

"Disappointed - The site is 150 meters from the unkempt, built-up, black (not yellow as in the operator's photo) sandy beach. This can be reached via a security gate with a rental key (€5). The open, unheated sanitary facilities are totally filthy. The dust and cobwebs have not been removed for years. Unbelievable. The staff are very nice, but totally bored (they could be cleaning). In October we had to pay €2 per person per day in Kurdax. But this is only payable for the first 3 days. Illogical. Free Wifi is only available at the reception or in the Ristorante, if possible. Mini market open until 15.10. available. Other shopping facilities are mega far away. Pool !!! available until 30.9. Positively, the bus stop in front of the place to Rome. The ticket is available for 3€ round trip at the Ristorante.

"Without words - Unkempt, loveless CP with natural terrain that is overgrown and unkempt. The squirrel unfortunately turned out to be a rat, which was too much. Adios also because of the many mosquitoes.

"We were disappointed... - One night and we won't be back, unfortunately. Power supply minimal, pool disappointing large tub on stilts, sanitary facilities available, beach nice but totally overcrowded and dogs prohibited.

"Quite ok to discover Rome - We stayed at the campsite for a week (March/April). To see Rome it is ok to sleep there at least once at the end of March at the beginning of April. In summer I imagine it's very noisy there because of parties. You can get to Rome quickly by bus or train. We drove to Magliana by car and parked it there in a guarded parking lot (2.50 a day) and then took the train. A great thing. As far as the campsite is concerned, the sanitary facilities are very dirty and are only briefly sprayed down with a hose and an attempt is made to clean them. No cleaning agents are used. So wear flip-flops for showering. There are prostitutes every 100m on the street right next to the campsite. Unfortunately not very attractive either. You can get from the campsite directly to the beach which was unfortunately also full of garbage when we were there. In the restaurant there were only 2 dishes to eat if you wanted to eat there. The rest was not available as there were still too few people on the site.

Profil

The campsite is located by the sea in front of a free sandy beach, immersed in the typical vegetation of the Mediterranean, 1 km from Ostia and 25km from the centre of Rome. The pitches for tents, caravans, motorhomes and …minibuses are surrounded by the greenery of the typical Mediterranean vegetation. Oaks and poplars provide shade, and they are bordered by cherry, mastic and laurel bushes as well as olive trees and many other species. Pitches are available with and without electricity. The sockets comply with the CEE standard with 220V. Disposal of grey and waste water is possible in the camper service area or via the chemical WCs located in each sanitary block. Beach Opposite the campsite is a wide sandy beach accessible free of charge. A disabled service is available and the beach volleyball and football courts on the sand can be used free of charge. Restaurant Italian and international cuisine, pizza, grilled dishes and take-away food in the campsite restaurant. The bar is open all day. You can sit outside under a large pergola or in a spacious dining room. Mini market The mini market is open from 1 June to 15 October. Here you will always find fresh bread, everything you need for shopping, camping accessories and exchange cylinders for camping cookers. Swimming pool From 1 June to 30 September there are two swimming pools in operation. These are not set into the ground due to the restrictions of the Mediterranean maquis and are in a separate area. Use is free of charge Animation In June, July and August, a juggler troupe entertains twice a week with afternoon games and adventures, and twice a week you can make ceramic objects under the guidance of your own teacher, which you can take home with you. There are also evenings with live music, as well as parties offering bruschetta, sangria, penne arrabiata and much more.
