Pure relaxation
After the ferry arrived, we drove to Camping Bodri in our VW bus and relaxed for three days. The campsite with its own access to the beach, choice of pitches and small store is an ideal base for exploring Calvi and Ile Rousse. The site is well parceled out with sandy ground and trees. There are several wash houses and the site is in good condition, although a little dated.

We liked it very much, were very satisfied
We were greeted in a friendly manner at reception. Communication was also possible in English. The site is beautifully laid out in terraces. This means there are lots of level pitches. At the end of June, the site was perhaps 50% full, so we were able to choose a nice spot with shade under the trees.... Sanitary facilities in good condition and clean, absolutely in order and available in sufficient numbers. The train stops directly at the campsite, which you can use for a day trip to Calvi, for example. There is a small store on site for everyday necessities and a restaurant. As we were self-catering, we didn't eat in the restaurant and therefore can't comment on it. There is a large supermarket for shopping not far from the campsite. The beach is about 50 meters away. Very nice sandy beach. Absolutely recommendable the place. We can absolutely recommend the campsite.

Have been coming here at Whitsun for years, great place, super bay, unfortunately at Whitsun almost exclusively Baden Württemberg with great Bullies and a few Bavarians here, no French. The sanitary facilities have improved considerably in recent years, but it's a large site and therefore not always top-notch. New entrance area since this year.

Camping on a beautiful beach
The campsite is close to the town of Líle Rousse. A beautiful beach with turquoise water and light sand is about 200m away. The Corsican train stops in front of the campsite, so you can easily get to Líle Rousse or Calvi without a car. There is a large leclerc supermarket 700m away. The pitches were... large and shady, the sanitary facilities clean, but unfortunately the shower and flushing water was quite cold. You could choose your own pitches. Wi-Fi is free and easy to receive throughout the campsite. Reception and reception were friendly

After several years of declining guest numbers, the friendliness of the people of Corsica in general and those at the Bodri campsite in particular had increased remarkably. Both the welcome and the farewell were characterized by the warmth of the younger generation of the campsite's owner family. Unfortunately,... the tide seems to be turning again: the growing popularity of many "regular guests" seems to have led to the owner of the campsite in particular becoming increasingly unfriendly, giving guests the impression that she is an annoying accessory to the day in the shade at reception. On request, for example, to be allowed to leave the car and trailer on the pitch on the day of departure - against payment of half the daily fee, of course - the reply is that this is the last time, next year this will no longer be tolerated - c'est le règlement... Conclusion: a beautiful site, very central and idyllically situated, if it weren't for the very unfriendly treatment on the part of the owners. What a pity!

Great beach with super beach bar
The beach is very clean and the water is crystal clear. You can eat or drink coffee at the beach bar at any time and the crêpes are great. It's also lovely in the evening with the sunset. The train that connects Île Rousse with Calvi stops on the premises. It's definitely worth a trip. When the campsite... is full in August, the sanitary facilities suffer a little. If you're lucky, you'll get a nice spot in the shade. There is a small store where you can buy croissants, baguettes and everything else you need. A large supermarket can be reached in 5 minutes by car. There is also a playground, a restaurant and washing machines.

This campsite is very large, that in August is really crowded. There is a very good shadow all over the area. Sanitary are good, not exceptional, and quite clean, well sized for the crowd. Pitches in the caravan area are well delimited and regular, while in tents area there is some confusion and irregularity.... Beatiful beaches are at walkable distance. There are very few electric hubs, we were unlucky and our place was more than 25 m from the nearest one. There are no water point, else than at sanitary buildings.

It is quite nicely situated, the beach is not far away (approx. 150-300m) and you don't even notice the road running above the site. There is a nice beach bar, just as you would imagine - you can also eat delicious food here. There is also a bar and a nice open-air restaurant on the site itself. The... sanitary facilities are simple and clean. The other facilities are described on the website. Reservations - simply do not exist here! There are also no pitches - you just take the space you need. And lo and behold, it works! Groceries: You can initially shop at the campsite but also at the nearby SuperU (supermarket, seen from the campsite before Ile Rousse). Meanwhile a LeClerc. We were here again in 2010. The prices (4P, tent caravan, electricity + car approx. 45 euros) have risen enormously. In my opinion - without corresponding compensation! The upper part of the site has been massively extended, but there are no further sanitary buildings!!! The lower part is still quite nice due to its campground character. But - it's just too expensive, which is probably why it wasn't overcrowded this year!!!
