- Alexander K.August 2019PozitivnoProtected location from strong stormsWe were very satisfiedThanks to the dunes, the campsite is well protected from sandstorms and wind. The operators are very friendly and helpful like those who vacation on the site We are looking forward to next year :)Аутоматски преведено.
- Nico H.August 2019PozitivnoWith the best will in the world, there is noNegativnoGoing there is a disadvantageHorribleWe wanted to spend a few days there with a tent to be close to the race track in Zandvoort to take part in a motorsport event. We arrived and were initially told very unfriendly how and where the car was parked. After the very unrecognizable and unfriendly registration, we were directed to a communal... campsite on a hill to which you have no access by car but have to drag everything up a steep staircase, so no possibility of disabled or age-appropriate camping. On the campsite there is a relaxed anti-social festival atmosphere as you have to stand where there is space. Electricity can be obtained via a collective socket which cannot even operate a kettle and a cool box at the same time without the fuse blowing. All amenities such as anything to do with hot water cost extra. We even had to wash ourselves with cold water and a washcloth because the opening hours of the reception did not coincide with our schedule. All in all, an experience not worth repeating and not to be recommendedАутоматски преведено.
- the c.April 2018Pozitivno- good bus connection to amsterdam - 10 min walk through the dunes to the seaNegativno- hardly any peace and quiet - expensive parking space rent - every little thing has to be paid extra - lack of cleanliness of the sanitary facilities - and...and...and...the first and last time!we stayed at the cp for 3 nights, for motorhome and 2 adults we paid 20,25€ PLUS 4,20€ for electricity and 4€ taxes, all together 28,65€ per night! at this high price in the low season (april) you have to pay extra for shower tokens (5min=1€), hot water for washing up (20ct) and fresh water at the tapping... point (20ct). the pitch itself is dominated by mobile homes, with 3-4 grassy areas in between where tourist campers are placed. there is a power connection near the pitches, but the pitch is allocated by the operator. we were allowed to stand right next to the barrier at the entrance, which means that you never have any peace and quiet: either because other campers or tradesmen drive in or out, or the operator drives up and down with his scooter or his bike storage at least once an hour. the sanitary facilities are not heated, even if it is 5 degrees outside. during the 3 nights we spent there, toilets, washbasins or showers were not cleaned once. the size of the toilet cubicles is just big enough to sit down in, but you almost bump your knees against the door. if you pay the price for a shower token, it can happen, as it did with us, that you have cold water for 5 minutes. the store, the entrance through the barrier and also the garbage collection only take place at very regulated times, although the operators are on site almost all the time and, for example, sit in front of reception listening to music or washing their car in the entrance area. all in all, we were really glad when we left and will definitely not be coming back. of course, you have to pay in advance!Аутоматски преведено.
- Kerstin D.August 2016PozitivnoRelatively close to the beachNegativnoLittle personal flexibility due to restrictionsNot recommendedWe spent three days at this campsite and were disappointed by the unfriendliness and inflexibility of the staff (owners?), especially towards children. There is an improvised area behind the parking lots where soccer can be played, but there is a strict ban on balls on the campsite itself, and a ball... was virtually not allowed to be touched at all. You had to pay extra for shower tokens (€1!) and even for hot water when washing up (€0.20). Garbage could only be disposed of at very limited times, the barrier for the entrance to the campsite could only be passed within the opening hours of the reception, which meant that as the owner of a camping bus you had to be back at the campsite by half past seven at the latest (but please not between 5 and 6.30 pm, when the reception was closed). We won't be visiting the campsite again.Аутоматски преведено.
- A. H.August 2016PozitivnoNone. Simply the only place on site.NegativnoBeach walking distance approx. 30min. Next to the industrial area (steelworks) with noise and NOISE.In spring Top In summer Flop In early fall Top In winter TooHave been going to this campsite for 4 years. Always in spring or after the summer vacation. This time we were there twice during the summer vacation. Thank you...never again. Totally overcrowded...small to medium-sized tents were placed between the mobile homes and caravans because of the crowds. Peace... and quiet was a thing of the past, especially as there were up to 60 or 80 children there...they were supposed to be there...but then a ball flew into the middle of the evening table...some new-fangled skateboards with battery operation also sometimes went over the tension cords...noise...by that I don't mean children's noise...noise from music systems and celebrations of other guests until late into the night...toilets were a mess. All in all...this was money making and is not acceptable. We left early...Аутоматски преведено.
- Thomas S.May 2014Small, privately run campsite in the middle of the dunes. The walk to the beach takes about 20 minutes along the bunker route. The small store is open by the hour and stocks the most important items. The toilet container offers more on the inside than it looks from the outside, but the toilet cubicles are very cramped. Our conclusion: We will definitely be back for a stopover.Аутоматски преведено.
- Thomas K.August 2013Beautiful in the dunes, quickly in Amsterdam by speedboatStayed there one night, friendly staff. Very nice location in the dunes. Sanitary partly a little run down, not necessarily always cleanАутоматски преведено.
- Sandra S.July 2013Beautiful campsite in an exciting location: nestled in the dunes, in the immediate vicinity of the bunker museum and nature reserve with beautiful cycle paths, 15-20 min walk to the beach, on the other side of the canal impressive industrial scenery and busy shipping traffic on the canal. You can also... be in the center of Amsterdam in 30 minutes by speedboat. We really enjoyed our stay and our 2-year-old son especially loved the lovely little playground! Although we went in the middle of the high season, we still managed to get a pitch without any problems by booking just a few days before departure. The sanitary facilities were always clean and the staff were nice and friendly. The only downside is the parking fee of €5 per day!Аутоматски преведено.
- Andrea S.August 2012A beautiful, well-kept, family-friendly place, with a well-stocked small store, children's playground and children's entertainment team.to the super beautiful beach only ten minutes walk, but bus line available.very good connection to Amsterdam.friendly, German-speaking family business. Highly recommended family campsite!Аутоматски преведено.
- Christian L.August 2012Camping de Duindoorn offers peace and relaxation. The site is well located, you can walk to the beach within 10 minutes and you can also take beautiful walks through the dunes. Amsterdam is easy to reach by speedboat. The owners of the campsite are friendly and happy to answer any questions you may have,... such as the best way to get to Amsterdam. For families I can only recommend bringing bicycles because you can make very nice bike tours there. The sanitary facilities are always clean and well maintained. All in all, the Capingplatz is highly recommended.Аутоматски преведено.
- Krisse V.August 2011We were there with our tent and loved the place! The location is great, in the middle of the dunes and next to an impressive industrial harbor. The beach is also only a few hundred meters away. We could choose between "family" and "teenagers" when booking. We unknowingly chose "family" as we weren't... in the mood for party people. Luckily, however, we (25 and 40 years old) were put on the tent meadow with the teens and twens - it's MUCH quieter there, without children shouting from 7am :) The operators of the campsite are very friendly, as are the ladies from the small store, where everything was relatively cheap. You can't leave your car at the tent, but you can drive it up outside the quiet times to load or unload. The sanitary facilities are a little older, but very clean. But: bring your own toilet paper! It's about 5 km (?) from the campsite to the departure point of the fast ferry to Amsterdam. We will definitely be back!Аутоматски преведено.
- Britta S.August 2011The campsite is managed and maintained by a friendly family. Many permanent campers have their leisure home here. The partly very run-down tin permanent camper containers make the site look older and more unkempt than it actually is. On a positive note, the sanitary facilities are very clean! I've had... very different experiences in Holland!!! The site is right next to a huge industrial area/port. I wasn't bothered by the rising clouds of exhaust fumes, but if you want a pitch with a nice view you should look for somewhere else. However, the harbor offers the opportunity to take the speed ferry to Amsterdam or to visit the huge locks. The site is located in the flight path of Amsterdam-Shiphol airport and the planes sometimes fly quite low and are loud. The beach (about 15 minutes' walk) is great: wide and clean. The 'boulevard' is typically Dutch: colorful and a bit unkempt. Overall, I would say that Duindoorn is a satisfactory place. Especially with families whose children are old enough to shower alone/independently and quickly (shower coin 1€!), as there are no children's showers or similar. You also have to pay 20 cents for the hot water for washing up, which I consider a minus point, as you don't even have the option of washing up indoors - have fun on a rainy vacation... If you want to have a nice vacation with your children in a family atmosphere, you should take your bikes and go to Duindoorn!Аутоматски преведено.
- Kerstin K.July 2011Good, clean campsite with a family atmosphere, everyone very friendly and helpful. Spacious pitches and good price. I will be vacationing there more often.Аутоматски преведено.
- Jara S.August 2010We spent our first short vacation together here (Wed - Sun) and really enjoyed our stay. The walk to the beach was a bit longer than expected and hoped for and the view on the way there wasn't that great either. However, the beach itself was nice and empty and not too crowded. You can also see a trekker... doing his rounds there in the morning hours when he uses a scraper to make the beach nice and smooth again. The beach was super clean. The museum right next to the campsite is definitely worth a visit. The nearest shop is unfortunately a little further away from the campsite, but less than 7 minutes by car. You can also get everything in the store on the campsite, but not at the same prices as in the supermarket. The price for the rented bikes for one day was completely ok and the tour through the national park was absolutely worth it. One day we took the speedboat over to Amsterdam, which we can only recommend to anyone. Unfortunately, you have no control over the weather, but we were really lucky. You should definitely take the warning about the foxes seriously, our bread rolls had to be eaten :D We would love to come back again, but unfortunately dogs are not allowed on the site. Too bad, though.Аутоматски преведено.

- Tobias B.July 2010The pitch, the location and the sanitary facilities are ok. The other campers are nice and you can get to the beautiful beach quickly. Unfortunately, the owner seems to have something against teenagers. Although you can choose between "teenagers" and "family" on the website, this was apparently not taken... into account for us (even after we pointed this out). (Not even after we pointed this out.) We were therefore allocated a pitch between permanent campers and families. Not a problem in itself, we got on well with everyone. However, the site owner was unfortunately very unfriendly and unobjective towards us (from the moment we paid). If it was too loud for too long in the evening, the campers came around and asked us to keep it down. That wasn't a problem for us, after all, the campsite is there for everyone. We often stayed out late on the beach in the evenings or went elsewhere. However, the owner immediately became loud and unobjective and threatened us with expulsion. In our opinion, the site is nice for families and long-term campers but not for young people. We certainly weren't looking for a fight, we just wanted to have a nice vacation. However, we don't need a site owner who would rather get loud straight away than ask for peace and quiet in a calm and friendly manner. It just depends a little on how you treat each other. This comment is not an unobjective statement but a hint to other young people. We were not looking for a "Ballermann on vacation" but for a cosy evening at the barbecue... Our money was welcome there, but unfortunately we were not...Аутоматски преведено.
- Gunter R.May 2009First of all, the site on the map is not located in Vissershaven's water :-) but in the dunes. We were very happy with the location, as the site was a good overnight stop for the ferry to England. The site was very clean and the operators were friendly and courteous. WiFi is available on the site and the dunes are just around the corner. We will be back.Аутоматски преведено.
