"Not for hot showers - Very friendly lady at the reception, ideal for anglers and dog owners. Beautiful large grass pitches bordered by hedges. A huge disadvantage are the sanitary facilities - unkempt, old, dirty, moldy and hardly any hot water. Of the 20 or so showers, only 4 were open and the drains in these were blocked, so you were always standing in water. The sockets are right at the top of the shower and washing cubicles, but with the wet floors you are at risk of electric shock when blow-drying. It's a shame that the owners place so little importance on hygiene, as the place itself is quite nice.

Profil

In the Jura, along the river Ain, lies the 3-star campsite Les Pêcheurs. This quiet French campsite offers simple facilities and few luxuries. You will camp on a quiet pitch, surrounded by greenery. The pitches for motorhomes are located on …grassy areas, surrounded by tall deciduous trees and green hedges that provide shelter. The campsite has a new swimming pool, but the Ain River is also a nice place to swim. The Les Pêcheurs campsite consists mainly of pitches for motorhomes, but lodge tents and mobile homes are also available for rent. The green pitches are spacious and well maintained. They are located on grassy areas and are surrounded by deciduous trees, shrubs and hedges. A narrow strip of greenery with tall trees separates the camping area from the sunbathing lawn on the banks of the river Ain. You can swim in the river Ain, which flows right past the campsite. There is a beautiful sunbathing lawn by the water. From the campsite, you can access the riverbank through a gate, where you can go straight into the water and take a refreshing dip. For those who prefer swimming in warmer water, Les Pêcheurs offers a beautiful swimming pool. It is a heated outdoor pool, elegantly laid out on a large sun terrace. The children's pool has a great water sprinkler system. As already mentioned, there is no entertainment programme. Nevertheless, there are plenty of things for children to do at the campsite, for example in the great playground, in the recreation room or on the two large bouncy castles. And of course, you will also find some table tennis tables and a boccia court here.
