"nice place with friendly operators.... - Beautiful campsite near the lake, about 1.5 km from Marciac. Nice little town with a market square surrounded by arcades, nice places to eat and a well-stocked weekly market. The campsite is laid out along a beautiful avenue of lime trees, with pitches separated by hedges. Passable and very clean sanitary facilities.... Bread roll service. There is a nice little café terrace/bar. Unfortunately only fast food there. Friendly operators.

"Pentecost weekend break for 22 people - Our group of friends was harassed for 3 days, even though our evening parties weren't that noisy. We had explained the theme of our stay, an annual reunion, and had obtained permission to erect a tent. Camping not recommended for parties and wakes...it's run by English people...perhaps a difference in culture.

Profil

Campsite Du Lac is a well-maintained campsite in the middle of a rural area in the Gers department. The campsite is within walking distance of a beautiful recreational lake and the centre of Marciac, famous for its international jazz festival …(in August). The campsite is terraced and has shady pitches. There is a heated swimming pool and a bar with a terrace. There are lots of tall trees at the front of the site, providing shade. Some pitches are bordered by hedges, while others are more open. Various types of accommodation are also available to rent. These range from two-person lodge tents to fully furnished mobile homes for up to eight people. If you fancy a refreshing dip, you can visit the (heated) swimming pool. There are sun loungers around the pool, ideal for a little sunbathing. Do you prefer to lie in the shade? No problem, there are plenty of parasols. Camping Du Lac has a separate play area where children can enjoy themselves playing sports. In the high season, campers of all ages can take part in ‘Quills de Gascogne’, a local game similar to skittles. There is also a beautiful recreational lake three hundred metres away, which is ideal for water sports such as kayaking and fishing. There is a bar with a pleasant terrace near the campsite entrance and the swimming pool. Treats such as snacks, filled rolls and local wines are available here. You can also order breakfast here. The baker from Marciac delivers fresh bread to the campsite every morning.

Упутства

From Bordeaux take A62 autoroute to Langon, then N524 to Roquefort. Just after Roquefort take the D934 to Aire Sur L’Adour then D3 to Marciac. Alternatively take the new A65 autoroute from Bordeaux to Aire sur l'Adour (toll expensive). Before …arriving in Marciac turn left off D3 with the lake on your right. The site is then signposted, 300m straight on. From Toulouse take N124 to Auch then N21 to Mirande. Continue on N21 5km S of Mirande then turn right on D16 to Tillac. From Tillac take D3 to Marciac and continue on D3 towards Plaisance. With the lake on your left, turn right for the campsite following signs for the site 300m straight on. From Spain take A64 at Biarritz to Pau, then D943 to Marciac and follow signs for campsite around the ring road to avoid narrow roads in the town centre.
