The pitches don't have any clear boundaries and are sometimes very close together. Other pitches are particularly separated by wind and privacy mats, which is also not very eye-catching. Natural hedges would be much better... and more appropriate, as far as this is and would be possible from a nature conservation point of view. At least the current many mats and boundaries are rather disturbing in nature. A new concept should be considered. The beach is a purely natural beach with an untouched flat dune landscape, which was just right for us, but is not everyone's cup of tea. We had schnitzel with chips which was good but the grill plate was not worth the money. Playground for the kids was great. After a child was injured by a piece of broken glass, the sand was immediately searched for other foreign objects (praise for this!).NegativnoAt our place we had to pull our power cable under the path through a Kgrorohr which is full of water. There was water at 2 washbasins on the pitch but the taps were faulty. Reception staff is not really friendly but mostly helpful. The wifi is very expensive and often does not work or works very slowly. The situation of the trash cans is underground to / on the beach none , at the wash house yes . Dog waste bags were only in the dispenser for the first 2 days and then not refilled for the rest of the 14 days (for €4 per day for the dog I expect the dispensers to be checked regularly and that I can also get rid of the bags without long walks).Well, you don't have to do it againThe place needs a well thought out waste disposal . The approach via the narrow path was very narrow several times.

Who is looking for peace and quiet here is wrong, it is quite a noise backdrop until late at 23:30 (conversations music dog and what I do not mind children), the places are mostly without shade a few places with shade but there are the loungers... to the dike. The pitches are quite small and the operators use every gap to accommodate campers, what is positive is the fairly modern wash house, the rest well we don't like cuddly camping but everyone has to decide for themselves Attention the places on the dike have VERY MUCH MÜCKEN. If you ask about the current Corona rules you get to hear that it was explained on arrival, unfortunately it changes almost daily. The reservation went smoothly.
The arrival was a disaster - probably due to corona. Therefore without influence on the overall rating.
You have to find and move into the pitch on your own, a map is... provided.
You can book electricity, but you don't have to.
The pitches are very close to nature. Some of them have a special charm and it is also in keeping with the idea of nature conservation that parts of the forest are not mowed, etc.
But the pitches already have very tall grass... I don't know what it will look like in July.
As you're allowed to do almost anything on the site if you behave reasonably well, some of the pitches already look a bit worn out. Carpets without holes, barbecues, tents with thick floors leave their mark.
The sanitary buildings are spotlessly clean and very new! Unfortunately, it was very cold there (probably due to the coronavirus). However, the water is too cold for me personally, as other shower users confirmed. It's just enough to make you want to turn it up a notch.
The children's bath is also really cute, but even there the door is open all day. Corona or not, that's not on! The minis will die without Corona. :-(
What also doesn't work at all is that the heat lamp didn't work and that there was only a bare worktop available for wrapping. That's not possible, not even with Corona!!! Or you have to communicate it beforehand.
Overall, the facility simply suffers from a maintenance backlog. For example, the stream system at the Sani was not even on or clean, although there was enough time this year to prepare for the season.
In my opinion, the operator is giving away a lot of atmosphere here. It is a place to relax and despite 500 pitches, some with permanent campers, very quiet and spacious 1-3 rows directly near the beach, beach as usual here with larger and smaller stones, also in the water partly sandy areas. Apart from the old-timers, nobody adheres to the... speed limit (walking speed) on the square, sometimes at up to 50 km/h despite the large number of people and children playing.
