"Great location for water sports - We had a great time and really enjoyed the immediate lakeside location. Prices and cleanliness etc. were totally fine. There is a small restaurant with decent food.

"Road noise - Located directly on the reservoir and only a few meters from the water. Ideal for water sports enthusiasts and anglers. I can't recommend the pitches directly on the road at all. The very loud traffic starts at 5am. Trucks and limited motorcyclists making the sound of an overdriven lawnmower included. This can only be endured with powerful earplugs.

"Campsite - Super campsite for extensive bike tours. Very clean and very friendly staff. This was my second time there and definitely not the last. The pizza in the restaurant is highly recommended and very tasty.

"Rest and relaxation - If you are looking for peace and relaxation, this is not the place for you. Very noisy road, fishing beeps 14 hours a day, youth groups partying from morning to night, dogs running free and going everywhere, complete ignorance of the site management.

"Camping in its most original form. - The reception at this campsite was very nice and pleasant. After a short tour it was clear that we would stay longer instead of one night as planned. The campsite has 2 parts. The left-hand part consists of pitches in several rows right by the lake. The right-hand part shines with a mixture of terraced pitches and a "wild" form of pitches in the upper part + view of the beautiful town of Frymburk. Sanitary facilities are available in both parts and were clean. I have never seen 3 playgrounds on a campsite before, which I find very remarkable. Children's entertainment with games and music was also offered. There is a restaurant on site where you can eat well plus you can also pick up pizza to order. There are countless leisure activities in the surrounding area and nearby. The only drawback we could find at this campsite was that card payment was not possible. Otherwise, we will definitely be back again soon.

"Very nice campsite - We stayed at the campsite for 2 weeks in August 2018 and really enjoyed it. We had a pitch right on the lake, it was really great, beautiful meadow, unobstructed view, also very quiet, great sunsets in the evening right on the water. In general, the pitches by the lake are great, the pitches in the 2nd or 3rd row are rather average and also much closer to the road, which is then quite noisy (as the crow flies to the busy thoroughfare only 5-10 meters). The Comfort pitches with their own bathroom are also in the first row to the road, which we found a thousand times better than our pitch right by the lake. Activities on the site are really great, lots of water sports right on the site (windsurfing, kayaking, stand-up paddling, ...), also great large water play equipment in the lake. There's lots on offer for the children. Our children no longer needed childcare, but the supervisors made a very nice impression and the younger children seemed to enjoy it. The site is well located for excursions in the surrounding area (Prague was too far for us), beautiful towns, lovely walks in the beautiful countryside. We can also recommend the rafting trip on the Vltava organized by the campsite, which is also suitable for smaller children. The staff are very friendly, starting with the parking of the caravan with the tractor, the staff were very courteous in all matters. The restaurant on site is rather average, but the pizzas are good and the prices very reasonable. The sanitary facilities were very good, the 4.5 minutes per shower token were more than enough for us. The site is also well suited for dogs, swimming in the lake, good opportunities to run around in the surrounding area. All in all, it was a great vacation on a beautiful site, we were pleasantly surprised by our first vacation in the Czech Republic and are happy to recommend the site to others.

Profil

Camping Frymburk is situated at the lake of Lipno in South Bohemia. South Bohemia (Šumava) is the largest protected nature area in the Czech Republic and consists of a range of mountains of 120 km long. lt is a beautiful …area, with impressive mountains, hundreds of small lakes, countless wonderful towns and glorious castles. In this beautiful surrounding, Camping Frymburk is situated directly at the lake. The surface of the campsite is 4,5 hectare and it manages, among other things, the following facilities: 170 pitches (80 – 100 m2), 4 Premium pitches with private toilet and shower, Comfort pitches with water connections, electricity (6 amp or 12 amp), reception, campi shop, modern sanitary, washing machine, restaurant with shop/bistro and terrace, 3 playgrounds for children and sports grounds. There are also two tables for table tennis, a volleyball court and 2 central fire places. Free Wi-Fi in the campsite. The beach of the camp site is 800 meters long with waterpark, trampolines and here you can rent bicycles, surfboards, rowing-boats, canoes and water cycles. Besides camping there is a possibility to rent completely equipped mobile homes and Glamping tents. The camping is situated 800 meters from the historical village Frymburk. In the centre of the village you will find restaurants and pubs with terraces, where you can dine out good and advantageous with the whole family. Furthermore there are supermarkets, ATM, post office, doctor/dentist, petrol station, swimming pool and wellness, go-carts, panoramic cruises on a boat. In Lipno nad Vltavou (7 km) there is another indoor swimming pool and a summer bobsleigh track, path among the trees, adrenalin and high ropes center. In the surrounding of Frymburk there are many possibilities for hiking and cycling-tours, new part of cycling track from Frymburk to Lipno leads around our camping, it is flat and suitable also for in-line skates or nice walks with wonderful view to lake. In the high season many activities are organized playback shows, animation programs and sporting events. You can visit also UNESCO city Český Krumlov, castle Rožmberk and Hluboká nad Vltavou, Vítkův Kámen and many more. The camp site is open from the 8th May till the 16th September. Reception is open from 8 till 8 p.m. in high season. You can make reservations directly on our websites www.campingfrymburk.cz/en in the reservation form.
