"A dream in the wine region - The campsite is located in a great wine region on the Alt-Main. Nature and wine lovers, as well as gourmets, will get their money's worth. The old town of Sommerach with various great restaurants and wine taverns is right next to the campsite. Sanitary facilities and pitches are very clean. Great pitches for short breaks...without unhitching. Unfortunately it is advertised with super Wlan...we had none...despite several comments no reaction or accommodation. Sorry, then do not advertise with it.

"Great! - We had a lovely weekend at Camping Katzenkopf. The total peace and quiet was a dream. As were the toilets and showers and the whole site. Very clean and well organized. We arrived late and checked in at the new machine. Super! The friendliness of the whole team was impeccable throughout.

"Absolutely recommendable! - We spent New Year's Eve at the wonderful Camping Katzenkopf. We felt completely at home! A particular highlight was the free garden sauna, the cleanliness of the sanitary building and the friendly staff. We would love to come back.

"Beautiful campsite - The campsite is beautiful and has large pitches (vacation pitches). The sanitary facilities are new and very nice. There is a restaurant on the site. There are two lakes and the Altmain right next to the site. There are many lovely little towns with good restaurants in the surrounding area. The staff are very friendly and helpful.

Welcome! Campingplatz Katzenkopf, which was founded in 1971, is nestled between the picturesque wine-growing town of Sommerach, vineyards, two large bathing lakes and the Altmain. Our family-run campsite offers around 200 generously laid out pitches for tents, caravans and motorhomes …in the unique landscape of the famous Mainschleife. Whether you prefer a shady spot under the trees or would rather enjoy the warm sun with a view of the lake, we are sure to have a favourite spot for everyone. We have large comfort and premium pitches with fresh and waste water connections and electricity connections up to 16 A. We offer a range of opportunities for relaxation, enjoyment and sporting activities. We have a fitness room, our own mini golf course, beach volleyball, two playgrounds, a sauna and much more. Our sanitary facilities are generously designed and offer everything you need for a relaxing stay: spacious showers in individual wash cubicles, clean toilets, practical washing facilities, baby changing rooms and bathrooms for toddlers. Accessibility is very important to us and is consistently implemented so that all guests have easy access to our washrooms and feel completely comfortable. In the harmonious atmosphere of our campsite, we offer you two wonderful opportunities to delight your palate. Our kiosk provides you with everything your heart desires for the little pleasures of the day, and our cosy Franconian restaurant with beer garden invites you to feast and linger, to enjoy a pleasant end to a beautiful day. Experience a wonderful and comfortable camping holiday with the whole family in the midst of pure nature!
