- Christian v K.August 2019PozitivnoQuiet, animals on the farm, well locatedNegativnoMedical supply stores somewhat small and sometimes unkemptVery nice place with small weaknessesI can largely agree with the writer of the other review. A very nice, quiet site with great facilities for younger children. That's why there were a lot of children on the site, but due to the spaciousness and good division of the site, this was in no way disturbing for us. Only the cleanliness of the... wash houses was a little poor in places and at times. However, as far as I can tell, they were cleaned at least twice a day, so the dirt was kept to a minimum. We preferred the wash house at the entrance because it was a bit cleaner (it is not so centrally located and therefore less frequented). For younger children, the play and sights on site at the campsite are really fantastic, but some things only if they speak French, which of course they rarely do. Our children (13 and 11) didn't understand a lot of things when the nice people on site tried to explain something to them. But it wasn't so bad, the cute baby rabbits, guinea pigs, geese, chickens, ducks, calves, donkeys and horses don't speak French. It was very quiet at night, the 'animations' (dance evening etc.) take place in the secluded barn and you don't hear much of it in the rest of the campsite. The site is also well located for visiting the nearby north coast of Brittany with its sights. The nice lady at reception speaks some English and is very friendly and accommodating. All in all, if we were ever in the area again, we would stay here again.Аутоматски преведено.
- Mc F.August 2018PozitivnoGreat for children, beautifully landscaped site, tranquillity, friendliness of the Coty familyNegativnoSanitary facilities are rather limited in the high season and the distances are sometimes quite long. However, we never found this to be a problemCamping on the farmAn unagitated, great campsite that was and is lovingly designed by the family that runs it. There are small works of art everywhere, everything is very individual. The campsite is divided into several areas, each with a different character. There are lots of hedges, trees and flowers. This makes it feel... less like a campsite and more like a park. The pitches are spacious and there is grass everywhere. There are also several permanent rental accommodations, which I can't really say anything about. They certainly look nice from the outside... the site is characterized by a conspicuous number of tents, plus a few camper vans and individual caravans. Possibly camper vans are not welcome in the high season, as they only arrived at the beginning of September when the site was clearly empty. There is a trampoline for children in the center of one of the two sanitary buildings. In the nearby forest there is a play area by a stream and a tree house, which the children love. The children can move around freely in parts of the farm. The cowshed is open, there is a guinea pig petting enclosure and Anne (the "senior boss") likes to involve the children in daily activities (feeding, collecting eggs,...). In general, we find the friendliness of the family to be outstanding. There are also various activities on offer for the children: Donkey carriage or tractor rides in a trailer, Breton dance evenings (forget the idea of a traditional costume evening...here everyone dances along in an old barn that also functions as a museum - great fun for young and old ;-) - and much more. There is a small, tasteful store that mainly sells its own products. The baguettes etc. ordered the day before can also be picked up here. Otherwise, it is about 10 minutes by car to the usual larger supermarkets. The site is about 15 minutes away from numerous beaches in the middle of a gently rolling landscape interspersed with small walls, hedges and trees. It reminds us of Cornwall in southern England. Maybe that's one of the reasons why so many English people come here on vacation... We are planning our fifth stay in a row this year.Аутоматски преведено.
