"Full - Lacona consists of campsites, restaurants and a beach. Even in September it was too full for our taste, this was the 3rd campsite we visited that had anything free at all. We were lucky and got a pitch with a sea view, unfortunately next to the access road and the waste disposal station of the neighboring campsite.

"Very nice !!! - We had a great stay, the site is in a great location, the staff are always friendly and open to any questions. If you can't get to your pitch, the tractor is happy to help you out and pull the caravan to the right place. However, large caravans over 9m should avoid the site or have strong nerves :-)

"Autumn vacation in Elba - We felt comfortable at the campsite, but will not visit it again as it was too loud for our taste during the quiet times. Be it the music or the roaring from the neighboring bar (outside the campsite) late into the night or even into the morning. We found the proximity to the beach very pleasant, but as mentioned above, this brings with it the risk of noise. So it's better to be a little further away from the beautiful "Mare" and a little further away and quieter. The pitches are relatively small. During our time there were a lot of Swiss people on the site (acquaintances) and we always found the evening "campfire gatherings" among the families with plenty of alcohol, singing and a raclette atmosphere rather disconcerting. It must be much louder in summer. Certainly unbearable for us. The restaurant on the campsite was mostly closed and seemed uncomfortable. Fortunately, you can eat just outside the campsite, a 5-minute walk away. The campsite market was definitely too expensive, sometimes with prices 2-3 times higher than in Conad or Coop. Nevertheless, we enjoyed our vacation very much and Elba is a pearl in the Mediterranean...

" - The large "rain showers" in the newer of the two sanitary facilities alone are worth considering this campsite. We've never had such good showers in Italy! The sanitary facilities are also diligently cleaned and are always clean. There is good quality toilet paper and soap. The pitches are on terraces and it is sometimes difficult to drive onto the pitch, even with cars. The pitches vary greatly in size, but all are shady. Caravans are placed on the pitch by the staff with a small tractor. From some pitches you have a view of the sea, but these are a bit far away from the sanitary facilities. Avoid the restaurant, it's usually empty for a reason... There are plenty of alternatives down by the sea to eat a pizza or pasta. The animation disappointed us. The ladies and gentlemen only spoke Italian and a little English. So they couldn't communicate with the children from CH, D or A at all. The same 5 songs were played all day, and the mini disco (called Baby Dance here) was weak because the DJ was clearly bored... Conclusion: We would love to come back!

Camping Lacona Pineta covers an area of around 40,000 square metres of green Mediterranean pinewood, at only 50 metres from the crystal water of the Gulf of Lacona. Camping Lacona Pineta is situated on a terraced ground. All the 210 …tent-places, as well as the 31 Bungalows, lie in the shade of maritime pines. Thanks to the long-standing experience in the tourism sector (the camping was born in 1957) and to a tireless effort to satisfy customer's needs, you will not easily forget your holiday in this amenity. These two elements have markedly raised the quality level of the services offered. Our campsite offers the following facilities: bar, pizzeria, restaurant, tobacco-shop, self-service shop, food store, play area for children, toilet facilities (with tiled floor), hot water, washing machines room, ironing room, supervised car park. You will find extra services such as plenty of games and entertainments from June 15th. to August 26st., the possibility to use electric machines inside the campsite, the free towing of your caravan to your camping place, safes. The activities of Camping Lacona Pineta are all aimed at every kind of amusement that can be offered to for a pleasant stay. Entertainment, sport, music and dance are all ingredients of the tourist recreation organized inside the campsite.
