"Simply great, 5 stars +++++ - This is a place where everything was just right for us! The staff at reception were very friendly, in the restaurant too, the waiter even took the time, despite the restaurant being full, to look for someone because of a translation problem, merci Monsieur, the food (burgers) was also very good. The grounds, including the pitches, are very well maintained. The whole team is very friendly. The sanitary facilities are cleaned regularly and are well equipped. The only negative thing is that the sanitary facilities in the main building are also used by the restaurant guests, but it was still very clean. The absolute highlight for me was the village, small, very, very pretty, extremely friendly residents, the cakes and baguettes in the little boulangerie were delicious. We liked it so much that we will definitely come back again, if we can make it!!!

Profil

On the edge of the pleasant village of La Romieu lies Le Camp de Florence, a well-kept campsite with Dutch owners. Around an authentic farm, between the sunflower fields, lies a green campsite with pitches offering views of the hills …of Gascony. With a swimming pool, a children's club and alpacas in the animal pen, there is plenty for children to do. There is also a good restaurant with an intimate terrace. Le Camp de Florence campsite's well-kept grounds are characterised by lush trees, sunflowers and climbing plants. The most beautiful pitches offer a wide view of the Gascony hills, which are covered with vines and sunflowers. Other pitches look out over the church of La Romieu. There is a separate small field with tent pitches for pilgrims on their way to Santiago de Compostela. The campsite's outdoor pool slopes gently down, making it safe for children. There is also a large shallow area with a great slide and fountains. The lifeguard provides additional security during the summer months. But the tropical swimming pool is also great for the bigger swimmers. One area is deep enough for swimming, but you can also sit comfortably in the hot tub. Alpacas: these increasingly popular petting animals can be found on the campsite too. Alpacas are fascinating, especially for children. Young campers can burn off energy on one of the large sports fields. The Lenny Club is also great. Every day in July and August, the little ones can make things, play games or go on treasure hunts at the children's club.
