The campsite really appealed to us as a family. It is located at a great starting point for hikes and bike tours in the beautiful Jura. There is a train station nearby. There is also a very nice horse and cow pasture right next door - great for watching the animals. You can order bread and croissants at the campsite.

Playground is available.

No disadvantages for us, but possibly for someone else: There are no electricity connections and no fixed pitches.
Quiet, clean campsite
We stayed at this campsite for two nights with a tent. Everything is kept simple but clean. There are no parceled out pitches, but it is possible to rent tipis or trapper cabins. However, we were traveling with a tent. Everything is uncomplicated and you can also order breakfast. If you rent tipis, you... can't drive onto the site, but you can with a tent/camper (tipis are located further back in the campsite, where driving is prohibited). The campsite is located directly on a railroad line, but this is not a problem as the trains run very infrequently (but you could arrive by train, as the stop is about 5 minutes' walk away). There are sheep and horses right next to the site. Dogs can be taken along. The URL given here is no longer up to date. More detailed information is now available at: http://www.jurabivouac.ch (but only in French). We will certainly visit this campsite again when we are in the Jura.
