Paradise for everyone!
It is a very beautiful nature after place. You can swim and surf there very well and you don't have to worry about anything happening. Also the people there are super nice and you make new friends very quickly especially the kids. So I would definitely recommend going there!

A special place, but no longer the dream
Le Pin Sec used to be a special place (in my opinion). Rumor has it that free spirits from Germany once pitched their tents in the pine forest and communicated with the gendarmerie.

In the 80s, the site was under a dense pine forest. It has since fallen victim to the weather and bark beetles, a local... person told me. As a result, the square has unfortunately lost a large part of its original charm.

The fact that more party people than families now go there unfortunately takes another plus point away from the place.

However, the beach and nature are still unique in the area. In my opinion, both Le Gurp and the pitches on Cap Ferret are not that special as far as the beach and dunes are concerned. But the pitches are definitely better.

LPS is actually a wonderful place. I can even live with the unfortunately only moderately clean sanitary facilities and the unrest at night... if it weren't for the ever-increasing number of youth camps that flood the site and exacerbate these problems... ☹

Has slowed down a lot
We have been guests for several years, first as a couple, later with children. This year we were very disappointed! The prices were raised considerably, but there were cheap, new washbasins. The surf camps have been given more space, so the crowd has become much younger. There is no longer a night's... sleep. Feasting until dawn is allowed! The wash houses are filthy, I feel sorry for the staff who clean twice a day. Some days it was difficult to find a clean toilet. It used to be a campsite with a hippie flair, no barriers, no compulsory reservations! Now the few pitches that offer shade are reserved months in advance by the same families every year so that you can keep to yourself! It's all very sad, but we probably won't be coming back for a while!

Basically totally great for relaxing and sports facilities. The sanitary facilities are cleaned once a day. Would be enough if the guests paid a little more attention. Unfortunately, few trees for shade and few places with electricity.

Was a legend, is a disaster
We've been visiting Le Pin Sec since the 80s, and it was wonderful back then. Camping under pine trees. Today it's just horrible. The pine trees are mostly dead, the public is on an ego trip, the sanitary facilities are filthy and far too few. We tried again and again. But now we've given up. Never again Pin Sec.

The campsite in the commune of Naujac sur Mer is an oasis of peace on the French Atlantic coast. The campsite is divided into two parts. One half is reserved for families and individuals, while the other half accommodates a number of youth camps. Access to the sea is very short compared to many other... campsites on the Atlantic. Within 4 minutes you are on the beach access and can watch the waves rolling in. The sanitary facilities and the site itself are well maintained by the town during the summer months. The small beach promenade with bars and a mini supermarket invites you to relax and all in all, this campsite is perfect for spending your vacation here. The sandbanks are not overcrowded even in the high season and there is something for everyone.
