There were still a few places available, but it was still low season. The site made a tidy and well-kept impression. We were able to choose a free pitch. In the rear area, where we stood with our caravan, the entrances to the pitches are very... narrow, so even with our small caravan we had to move directly from the driveway. The sanitary facilities are getting on in years.
There is a bakery with a large selection about 5 minutes' walk away and a restaurant (Buffalo Grill) opposite, which we didn't try out.
The site is certainly well located for a stopover. I can't say what else Cambrai has to offer for a longer stay.Аутоматски преведено. - Peter L.June 2024PozitivnoLocation, plot size, friendliness, opening hoursNegativnoVery narrow plot entrances in the rear area, but that's complaining on a high levelGreat place for an overnight stayWe were greeted in a friendly manner despite arriving late, were able to choose a pitch ourselves, very cheap, no extra charge for the dog, pitches sufficiently large, only very narrow access roads, limited on one side by the electricity/water supply pillars. You can hear the country road, but you have... to die if you want a transit site close to the route.
The site should be seen as a transit site, or for visitors to the town or the nearby WW1 battlefields, but not as a recreational site or for a vacation. It can be recommended for this without compromise.

We were able to arrive spontaneously and were welcomed in a very friendly and uncomplicated manner. If you are looking for a simple overnight stay, this is the place for you. The pitches are large and all have electricity and water connections. The staff is friendly and the registration is uncomplicated. The sanitary facilities are in need of renovation. You can order baguettes etc. for breakfast from the site manager against prepayment.... The town center is within easy walking distance and very nice. Dogs can go to the nearby canal (also in the direction of the town center). A nice place for a stopover, which you can easily extend to a day of sightseeing.Аутоматски преведено.

Water for washing up only lukewarm. Good connection... to the highway, good price-performance ratio. Noise level okay, but neighboring street is quite quiet at night. The sanitary facilities are separated by gender, the number of toilets and showers are rather few and clean. Facilities for the disabled are available. The necessary disposal facilities are available and easily accessible.... Overall, the site is an overnight pitch and is only suitable for a longer stay to a limited extent, especially as it is conveniently located close to the highway. However, the site is in the immediate vicinity of an arterial road, so it is noisy during the day due to the traffic and only becomes much quieter once the traffic has died down. Even then, however, occasional disturbances are to be expected. The low price makes up for this (€14.50 per night including electricity for two people). There are no facilities on the site itself; however, there are several stores within walking distance and a restaurant in the "Buffalo Grill" chain opposite the site (not my taste, but everyone has to decide for themselves).Аутоматски преведено.
Harm M.August 2013Very well-kept municipal campsite with modern sanitary facilities. Directly opposite a restaurant (Buffallo Grill), approx. 5 minutes on foot to the town center. Bakery also about 5 minutes on foot. Level pitches and a very friendly "boss". You can just turn up and choose a pitch. In the evening you... register with the boss. The price/performance ratio is excellent. However, there is an expressway (highway feeder road) behind the site which is very noisy during the day. At night, unfortunately, motorcyclists sometimes speed over it. Therefore, although everything else is actually right and the price is unbeatable, the site is more of a place for an overnight stopover. However, if we were in the area again, we would stop here again at any time.Аутоматски преведено.
