- Robert O.July 2022PozitivnoPeace and tranquility, with attentive and friendly hosts.NegativnoWe couldn’t find any negatives. As the Beautiful South sang, IT’S A PERFECT TEN.Toilets and showers are very clean, plus washing facilities. My wife is very keen on cleanliness. As it was hot during our stay, we regularly enjoyed having a refreshing swim in the pool. On our last day we ordered a wonderful meal from our hosts and we were sorry we hadn’t done this previously. The location is excellent for visiting local towns and the coast. We hope to book again for next year.
- Elly M.July 2021PozitivnoBeautiful peaceful spot surrounded by natural beauty and accessible lake.(=walk around) Deer spotting with distant viewer! At 4km (longest 2 sides bikeable); Nice village with large supermarket and 3 good bakeries. In restaurant village center for 13€ good 3 course choice menu between 12 and 13h30 where all the locals come. Or opposite parking;fresh kebab or other main course +refreshments for 7€. Good info maps for everything; even though france is not really a cycling country. On campsite also breakfast and table cover your dinner on your spot at fair prices(book day before). Showers fine to set yourself. Swimming pool 21 degrees, pleasant. 30min +_ from the sea and (other direction)from 2 locations with shopping complexes. Long thought about the feedback; but sometimes you have to be honest..and how much that you then try to put it in possitive light...the owner R. is just not polite. Things have occurred on a daily basis that you would not wish on your enemy, to the point of rage with several decent guests. Eg; English couple highly educated was late outside the tent for t ordered breakfast because on the first day they still had the time on their own time zone these were grounded. Guest was besieged several times a cottage to have stained and been in it after their cleaning. Husband of other guest kindly asked on arrival where the store was; was barked at that this had already been communicated with his wife by email and that she would not repeat this again she did not start that nonsense? Our dog's leash had slipped off when the rooster was 1meter from him; we chased after it so nothing could happen, of course this should not happen but this was blamed on us personally? The rules changed in FR. By which we guests had to have a doc. When 1 of the guests asked in panic; could you please print that for a fee then the answer was; this is not my problem you have to take care of that yourself. Out of the blue; heavy conversations about beliefs and political views etc. that took a day to recover from. Etc... Wifi camping; Negligible in some places and with watss app and downloud limitation Beautiful location asking to be taken over by someone with love and communication skills;.NegativnoI myself was mentally and not quite physically attacked by both screaming and unreasonable proprietresses; 1x at reception 1x in the middle of the available 7 camping spots because I had stretched a 1-meter long line out of sight on an empty spot with a kitchen towel (because of wind) that they had thrown in the trash. We left early on location as did 2 of the other guests that week.(only we didn't know why at the time)Just a bit too many strictly controlled rules than vacation hospitality allows to put it nicely.
