Also otherwise, very great hospitality, help was given with setting up, the somewhat uneven terrain can be well leveled with the wedges available. Beautiful walks can be started directly from... the campsite, the central location between the Upper Engadine and the National Park offers a wide range of excursion possibilities!
The sanitary facilities are ok and are kept clean, fresh bread can be ordered, and restaurants in Zuoz and La Punt are within walking distance.
Our pitch was narrow but nice and long, we had enough space to sit down in the shade or in the sun.
Our tip: take the train to Pontresina, then walk to Lej da Staz, take a dip in the mountain lake (changing rooms available) and then continue to St. Moritz.

Connection with the Rhaetian Railway to Ponterisina, Celerina, Samedan, Scuol, Davos, Preda, Bergün, Filisur, etc... Rail excursions on the Albula line, Bernina Express, Glacier Express and Preda-Bergün toboggan run. The campsite is... well equipped. The owner is always ready to help with words and deeds. In winter the snow is only rolled, which gives the campsite a lasting beautiful winter landscape. Beautiful tent meadow, very suitable as an overnight stop for cyclists. As a caravan or motorhome traveler, you have to be aware of the size of the place, it may be that you have to stand rather narrow!... The sanitary building is well equipped and clean. If you're cooking for yourself, it's a good idea to arrive "bought in". Shopping facilities are available in La Punt and Zuoz. Site small and quiet, right next to station (Swiss trains are quiet too!) with great service up and down valley. Tent pitch excellent (easy for pegs!). Owners very helpful. Facilities to very high... standard, immaculately clean. Bread and drinks available on site, otherwise used supermarkets in Zuoz and La Plante - open till 6pm and on Sundays. Some great walking from campsite, easy access to massive choice elsewhere; would be excellent for cycling too. Perhaps not lively enough or enough facilities for some families, but great for us. Beautiful conservatory with lots of reading material and information about the whole Engadin. The enterprising site owner fires up the barbecue every evening, which can be used by all campers.
