Close to the highway. The pitches are mainly under tall trees, usually no satellite reception. There is a free choice of pitches on arrival, so you have to look for them, but they are usually full from the afternoon... onwards. If you're lucky, you'll find a place to park with a hitch. Heavy motorhomes beware, these are meadow pitches that are muddy after rain. Hardly any paved pitches. No pitches with water/waste water. Playground and free WLan available. The restaurant is only open until 18.00 and you don't feel like going there, prefer to go to the grill restaurant or McDonalds directly in front of the campsite. The Lidl is also opposite the entrance, the campsite has no store. The sanitary buildings are clean, the toilets have no toilet seats and only one large roll of toilet paper in the corridor, when the roll is empty everyone has no more paper. Just like in the 70s. The 3 sanitary blocks are modern, there is a restaurant as well as a playground, a fitness area and a heated pool. There is also a supermarket in the immediate vicinity. The sanitary facilities were clean and tidy and the pool was pleasant at 35 degrees outside. Macon is a nice little town and easy to reach by bike. Arrival was possible until 22.00. We received a friendly welcome (in very good English) and check-in took less than five minutes. The pitches were mostly separated by hedges and spacious. The small playground was in good condition. The sanitary... facilities were more than adequate and clean. There is a pizzeria on the site where you can also order baguettes etc. in advance (we didn't make use of it though). A discount store and fast food is in the immediate vicinity. A shopping center and cheap gas station about five minutes drive away. Checking out was just as easy as checking in. We chose the campsite because it is only about five minutes from the highway. Too good to be used only as a transit site. However, the site was also very busy due to a large number of Dutch, British and Germans passing through. It is certainly common that the toilets did not have glasses, we do not find it contemporary. It is located not far from the highway about 70 km before Lyon and is mainly used by people passing through, which can be seen from the fact that it gets quite full in the evening and empties out very quickly in the morning.... Access from the highway is easy and is no problem even for larger caravans. There are two sanitary blocks with plenty of toilets and showers. The pool has been significantly enlarged (2018) so that you can enjoy cooling off after arriving in hot weather. I can definitely recommend the campsite as a place to stay overnight and it is even suitable for a stay of several days to explore Burgundy.Аутоматски преведено.

It is a beautiful, green site with pitches of different sizes and a large stand of trees and hedges, the lime blossom smells wonderful! The sanitary facilities are fine, with plenty of showers and toilets. Everything was also... clean. Unfortunately, the toilet paper is outside and there are no toilet seats, which we think is a bit of a shame, but it's okay for an overnight stay. As we are usually at the back, we don't notice the noise from the street, but unfortunately we can hear the bass from the disco until the early morning. There is a petrol station about 2 km towards the town on the main road at considerably lower prices, about 18 cents cheaper. Please note: Not all German credit cards are accepted in France. However, there are petrol pumps without card machines, here the pumps directly at the ticket office. You can pay with a German card at the pay station. The usual supply and disposal facilities are available. There is also a swimming pool. As I only stayed overnight, I did not inquire about WLAN or bread service. An inexpensive... 24-hour petrol station of a large shopping center, which is easily accessible for trailers, is located about one kilometer from the site and is preferable to the branded petrol station located directly on the site for refueling. As the site is located directly on an entry and exit road to Macon and the TGV line is also close by, it can only be described as reasonably quiet at night, at least in the part facing the road. The groundsman gave us the tip to visit the rear part next time. According to him, the site is often used for overnight stays because of its convenient location to the Route de Soleil. The reception was friendly and courteous. I did not visit the restaurant on site. There is a branch of a burger chain and a branch of a well-known steakhouse chain within walking distance of the campsite. Spacious site towards the river with easily accessible pitches. Everything in perfect condition. Friendly staff. Environment on the edge of Macon near an industrial area not quite so tingling. Noise pollution from road traffic is limited.... Absolutely worth mentioning: restaurant with the most dedicated restaurateur on site with moderate prices and the best quality and atmosphere.
