This is the 4th time we've been here, and not without reason. The entire sanitary facilities are very well maintained and clean. Special thanks to the service staff. Large pitches.NegativnoGastronomy with room for improvementDream systemThis campsite deserves its 5 stars! The very spacious pitches are located in a beautiful park directly on the Ardèche. Everything is landscaped and maintained like in a park. Top sanitary facilities, we had a private bathroom, spread over two houses, always meticulously clean. Good restaurant (with room... for improvement, both in service and dining), tennis, three pools, sports facilities, children's playgrounds - everything is there. But not 08/15 but like a 5 * club resort. A few kilometers away is the village of Vallon Pont d'Arc, where you can stroll around and of course eat delicious food at normal prices.
Conclusion: We always like to go to Leading places, this one is something special and is one of the best in Europe. So not primarily for kayaking, even though this is a priority in the region. But we also did other nice things, such as cycling, walking along the river, visiting the lavender farm and of course exploring the absolutely charming little... village. Very warm and friendly welcome, English-speaking reception - some even speak German. Very friendly staff in other areas too (bar, supermarket). Great location on the river, several good & very clean sanitary blocks. Restaurant a little expensive (France), well-stocked supermarket and absolutely great pool area. The charming village is easily accessible by bike (also on foot) with many small stores, large supermarkets and many restaurants/bars.Аутоматски преведено.

After looking at another favorite in Vallon Pont d'Arc, which didn't meet our expectations, we went straight to Camping Parc L'Ardechois. The site fully met our needs and expectations of a clean, well-kept site.... We didn't really have anything to complain about. Always important: the sanitary facilities. They were very clean and were cleaned several times a day. Unfortunately, there were no toilet seats, but you can make do with that.
The pitches are spacious and have a water connection and electricity. However, please note that several pitches share the power distribution. So take at least 20 to 25 meters of cable with you.
There is a well-stocked store with continuous opening hours from 07:30 to 20:00.
The restaurant is very nice, but the food still has some room for improvement.

It's not too big, so it's well laid out, has clean sanitary facilities, a small supermarket and a pool area. However, we mainly went swimming in the Ardèche. It's fine if you have bathing shoes on. The kayak tour on the Ardèche is a must and can be booked... directly at the campsite. The restaurant serves typical French menus as well as pizzas. But they are made the French way. The very beautiful grounds, perfect maintenance and cleanliness of the site and the sanitary facilities underline the high standards of quality that are fully met here. The site truly deserves its 5 stars. Even after a night... of heavy rain, nothing sinks into the mud and there are only a few puddles on the paths. We've had very different experiences. It is still a real campsite, where campers rather than rental accommodation make up the majority of guests. The pitches are large and grassy and can also accommodate heavy and large motorhomes. The closer to the river, the quieter the pitches are (the road is audible). Our pitch was well shielded by the reception building. The pool area is also very nice, clean and perfectly maintained. The restaurant on site is good and there is a canoe rental right by the river. The town center of Vallon Pont d'Arc is within walking distance and the way there is only a short walk along the main road.Аутоматски преведено.

Kayaking (with our own kayak rental and shuttle service!), hiking, visiting stalactite caves and much more. The site itself is very large and the pitches near the river are nice and quiet. What I particularly liked: even if you don't have a... direct river pitch, there is still a meadow where you can sit down and watch the paddlers on the river. Great sanitary facilities, always clean and with sufficient capacity. Very friendly staff and a great welcome with information material and a bottle of wine. You feel so welcome! Dirk B.July 2018PozitivnoVery friendly staff, great facilities, very clean, good shopping and fun swimming.Negativnoabsolutely none that I could name.5 stars and absolutely rightly so!We were there as a family (2 adults, 2 children between 6 and 10) for almost 2 weeks. Even the arrival was excellently organized. We were welcomed directly at the barrier and the caravan could be parked behind it without any problems. The check-in was extremely friendly and I immediately felt welcome... and in good hands. We were then guided to the pitch by a golf caddy. We had booked the highest category of pitches and got one of the nicest and biggest pitches I have ever had. Shaded on 3 sides by trees. There was a normal sized fridge in a wooden hut, a "covered" seating area where you can comfortably sit 4 people. These pitches also have a hammock. Electricity and water is right on the border with the neighbor. Highlights include the swimming pool, with ample sunbathing facilities, and the proximity to the Ardeche. A partly concreted path (quite steep in places) leads to the banks of the river, where even inexperienced swimmers can enjoy a swim. Thanks to the long opening hours, the store is very convenient for spontaneous shopping. We visited the restaurant 3 times. Very friendly service and good food. The fish dishes were my favorite. If you are looking for something to complain about, it would be the bar adjacent to the campsite, which sometimes has live music until 11pm. But as you stay up late in the high season anyway, that didn't bother us. We highly recommend this campsite, even for those passing through. It was clear that the people in charge always try to do everything possible for those passing through. Ideal starting point for canoeing including through the Pont d'Arc (for the whole family from the age of 7 as well as dogs) and hikes through unspoiled nature. We didn't like... the town of Vallon Pont d'Arc as it was very touristy, although there are shopping facilities with Intermarché and Lidl (but only within walking distance). Restaurants are at the campsite (okay), and in the town in 15 to 20 minutes on foot (but directly along the roads). Dogs are welcome. Both were very well equipped, beautifully laid out and very clean, had a nice pool area and a good restaurant. Perhaps a little more expensive but in our opinion good value in the literal sense. Canoe rental on site, very convenient. We arrived in... the afternoon and went on a canoe trip the very next day, tiptop. The only negative thing is that the selection and prices in the restaurant are not ideal and you are actually forced to wear tight swimming trunks here too, but in September there is no longer any pool supervision...Аутоматски преведено.
