"Aggressive boss, children unwanted - We would like to warn all families about this campsite. Had an extremely bad experience. One evening the owner was partying with extremely loud music; our children couldn't sleep and my son (13yo) asked at about 9:45pm how much longer the music would go on. Whereupon a drunken man (who turned out to be the "boss") sent him away with aggressive words. We parents then politely asked if it could be turned down and the man insulted us and told us to pack up and be gone in 1 hour. Of course, we couldn't just take down the tent in the middle of the night and so the children spent the night in fear that the man might do something to us. Thank God that wasn't the case, but the next evening when our youngest cried loudly for about 10 minutes because he was tired and couldn't be calmed down, the man (this time sober) actually came to our tent, started swearing at us again and told us to leave the site immediately because our child was crying. We will of course never come back and can only advise everyone not to camp here until the tenant changes. He seems to react aggressively to children in particular. It's a shame, otherwise the site was okay, the facilities, especially the lake, are beautiful; a little older (e.g. the suspension of one shower was broken) but that wouldn't have bothered us.

"Very unfriendly - We were on the dog side of the site in August with our camping trailer. There were also some gypsies on the site who spent half the night arguing and were very loud. I've known the campsite since 1966 but the cleanliness was cleanliness and friendliness has never been so bad!

"Unfortunately declining quality and friendliness - We have been coming here for many years. Unfortunately, the cleanliness of the sanitary facilities and the friendliness, especially of the tenant himself, leave a lot to be desired. Paper towels, soap and disinfectant are rarely or never replenished. A nogo at this price! After I parked my small motorhome on the allocated pitch so that I was facing the sun, I was snapped at (i.e. told in an unfriendly manner) that I should stand parallel to the other campers; after asking if this was a joke, I was told that I could go straight home again if I didn't like it. It's a shame, we've spent many wonderful days here with our friends in the past. I won't be coming back, and our friends probably won't either

"Beautiful CP - pure oasis of peace - The location of the campsite is simply perfect! - Situated directly on the lake and surrounded by greenery, this campsite invites you to relax. Can only warmly recommend this campsite - the pitches are spacious. The sanitary facilities are a bit older but always clean. Very nice reception and you can usually choose your own pitch. The restaurant on site is also highly recommended - great value for money!!! - The surrounding nature invites you to go hiking, cycling etc. - simply to feel good!!!

"Beautiful place - The campsite is an insider tip for those looking for peace and nature. The pitches are on the large side. Thanks to the large sunbathing lawn, there is plenty of space to enjoy the sun even in high season. The separate area of the pitches for dog owners is very pleasant. Dogs are also not allowed on the beach or the sunbathing lawn. The hosts at the campsite are very friendly and make an effort to look after their guests. I can't share the opinion about the boss, he was friendly and everything went really well. Quite the opposite of the cleaning lady. She is very unfriendly and only cleans superficially. But I will still come back.

"completely satisfied - As permanent campers at the site for 4 years now, it is pure relaxation for us, quiet, informal, with excellent food. We will come back again and again!

Profil

The comfortable, informal camping ground provides calm and relaxation amid untouched nature at the shore of the lake "Rauschelesee" near Klagenfurt (7km) and lake "Wörthersee". We offer a spacious lawn with a playground for children, a child-friendly shingle beach as …well as our own sports ground. It is ideal for outdoor activities such as swimming, cycling, hiking, running and fishing. At Klagenfurt and near lake Wörthersee enjoy shopping, the cultural life and night life. Dogs are only allowed restrictively - please contact us; programmes for children once a week during the high season ; sanitary facilities for wheelchair users reachable via a step; rooms for rent; tumble dryer; Own sports ground; room for children and adolescents;

Take the motorway A2 to the junction "Klagenfurt West", exit "Klagenfurt See" (Minimundus), at the traffic light turn to the street "Wörthersee-Süduferstraße" (straight on); after about 1.5km turn left towards Viktring. There, turn right and take the road "Keutschacher Straße" …towards Keutschach. After 3km there is a sign on the left side. After 100m there is a left-hand bend, go on for 100m and turn right (it is the driveway to the campsite).
