- Björn B.July 2024Pozitivnowell located for a visit to ParisNegativnoCondition of the sanitary facilitiesAt the gates of ParisYou can walk to the train station in 10-15 minutes and then it takes about 1/2 hour to get to Paris. For us this is an ideal CP for visitors to Paris.
The campsite was always clean and has a small store, a restaurant and a pool, which seemed particularly suitable for small children. However, we only... used the store.
The nearby railroad bridge is audible, but you don't expect perfect peace and quiet from a central city campsite.
The only drawback was the sanitary facilities. The capacity was a little too small, although more toilets and showers could have been opened. There was no hand wash basin (after using the toilet), so guests used the dishwashing sink or the individual washing cubicles. In the latter, the door handle must be operated before washing hands. A hand basin with soap dispenser is missing here!
The condition of the showers was poor. The water came out of several places of the screw connections but only sparsely from the shower head. In addition, the water only ran for about 3 seconds after pressing the button.Аутоматски преведено. - Lisa W.July 2024PozitivnoArrival and access, optimal connection to the city center of Paris, friendly staffNegativnoSanitary facilities, possibly train noise depending on the location of the pitchIdeal starting point for a city trip to ParisThe campsite is the ideal base for a city trip to Paris. The Maisons-Lafitte train station is a 15-minute walk away. The city center of Paris can be reached and visited within 25 minutes by train (every 10 minutes). The journey to the campsite can be relaxed and without major detours via larger roads,... passing the north-eastern outskirts of Paris. This avoids the stressful city traffic of Paris. The pitches are large, separated by hedges, in a quiet location, even partly on the Seine and sufficiently shaded by a large stock of old trees. The staff are friendly and can speak up to four languages (German, English, French, Spanish). A disadvantage is the sanitary facilities, especially at midnight, after all the "Paris visitors" have returned, the wash houses are busy and noisy. Unfortunately, there are also no open hand basins, soap or even sockets in the wash house. However, the cleanliness of the sanitary facilities is OK. Another positive aspect of the campsite is the small supermarket, which has the most necessary products on site and supplies the campsite with fresh baguettes and croissants in the morning. If you are looking for a campsite to stay overnight or a base for visiting Paris, this is the place for you.Аутоматски преведено.
- Marianne N.June 2023PozitivnoProximity to ParisNegativnoCheck in only from 14.00GStay from June 27 - July 4, 2023We stayed at this campsite this summer. It is beautifully situated directly on the Seine and is also well maintained.
Now my problem:
I booked and paid via the internet. We were already at the reception at 11.30 am. The lady found our booking but then told us that we couldn't check in until 2pm. Anyone... can understand that. A campsite is not a hotel.
If someone leaves the pitch at 10.00 a.m., the pitch can be allocated again at 11.00 a.m.. I understand this rule in a hotel, because the room has to be cleaned and the beds made up first.
At 2 p.m. we were back at reception with many others. There are 2 workstations, but only one was occupied. So we had to wait a long time again.
In my opinion, the management needs to go over the books again.Аутоматски преведено. - Wolfgang B.September 2019PozitivnoThe proximity to Paris and the ACSI-CARD price of €17.00.NegativnoThe unheated and speedy sanitary facilities as well as the noise of the nearby train line depending on the location of the pitch.Ideal starting point for a visit to ParisThe site is an ideal starting point for a visit to Paris. The staff are friendly and courteous, the sanitary facilities are adequate but not heated and draughty. The pitches are large enough. From the morning onwards, the busy train traffic can be a nuisance for some. The big advantage is the proximity... to Paris. After a 10-minute walk to the train station, you can reach Paris in just under 20 minutes on the RER A. The day ticket costs €12.40 per person.Аутоматски преведено.
- Gerrit W.August 2019PozitivnoFriendly staff, close to Paris, nice little supermarketNegativnoUnacceptable sanitary facilities, food in the "restaurant" inedible (entrecôte was a greasy and tough neck steak)Best location near Paris with miserable sanitary facilitiesWe received a friendly welcome on arrival. Overall, it has to be said that the staff were super friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, I don't know if the staff speak German, as I spoke French or English. The small supermarket is also well stocked and the sales clerks are very friendly. The small pool... is chronically overcrowded, but it's enough to refresh yourself after a day in the city. Everyone has to decide for themselves whether the pitches are big enough. We had a 6.7 m long caravan, an awning, a separate 4-person tent, a table with chairs and our van on the pitch and it was fine. The fact is, if you don't have a mover or a large motorhome, you have to allow a little more time to move onto the pitch... In addition, some pitches had a large tree stump or similar obstacles. The pitches advertised as "highlights" directly on the Seine sometimes had dense bushes or trees with no view of the Seine. Personally, I wasn't bothered by the ships (engine noise) or the nearby railroad line, but you should be aware of this. It takes about 10 - 15 minutes to walk to the train station and the A line takes you quickly to Paris. However, the sanitary facilities are completely unacceptable. Completely filthy, broken and a paradise for people with an interest in insects. When I first complained to reception, they said that some of the cleaning staff were ill. I then complained to the management by email, without a reply. Next, I went through everything with the site manager on site. He apologized several times and arranged an upgrade of the mobile home (better equipment, more space) as compensation for the part of our group that was accommodated in the mobile home. Nevertheless, the sanitary facilities were still completely filthy or defective.Аутоматски преведено.
- Lars H.June 2018PozitivnoSuper location Close to Paris Very cleanNegativnoRiver shipping and trains within earshotVery beautifully situated, clean campsite- New and clean sanitary facilities - small supermarket - restaurant on site - pitches directly on the water - trains and river boats within earshot - we were still able to sleep well - very clean toilets and washing facilities - suburban train to Paris within 5 min cycling distance - we would come here again to visit ParisАутоматски преведено.
- Christoph S.May 2018Very well located for visits to ParisThe place is very quiet in a suburb. About 10 minutes on foot to the express train to Paris. Pitches of different sizes. Sanitary facilities clean, cleaning times somewhat unfavorable at 8.00 a.m. (May 2018), no gender separation. Baguette on pre-order or 10 min to the nearest bakery. Access through... the suburb with a trailer not easy. Caution: no parking for trailers in front of the barrier (lunch break in low season). Pitches of varying sizes - including many mobile homes. Swimming pool was under construction. A quiet oasis after a day in the city, would go there again.Аутоматски преведено.
- Gela D.April 2017PozitivnoGood connection to Paris and still quietNegativnoNot cheap, no WiFi buy does not work,Visit to Paris over EasterWe were there for a week in April and took the RER into the city every day. The stop is about a 7-minute walk away. If you have a passport photo with you, you can get a cheap ticket for €25. The ladies at reception are very friendly, the site has many mobile homes and is well maintained. Sanitary facilities... are mostly clean, the supermarket on the site has little choice and no more baguettes after 10am. The RER can be heard faintly, there is a stadium next door but it was not used. The location on the river is very nice, unfortunately there is a fence in between. We would use the place again. WiFi is free for one hour in a room by the restaurant, but it is always overcrowded. We therefore bought a separate connection for 20, - which only works for a cell phone and constantly logged out. I cannot recommend it.Аутоматски преведено.

- Ute C.August 2016PozitivnoProximity to ParisNegativnoRailroad noisesCity camping, ideal for a visit to ParisThe campsite is located on an island in the Seine, actually very idyllic in a beautiful suburb of Paris. It doesn't look quite as beautiful from the ground as in the aerial photo of the campsite, but it is very suitable for sightseeing in Paris. The delicate hedges were dried out and could have done... with a bit of care. The pitches are quite small. Electricity with CEE and 15A. There were still 2 sanitary buildings open, of which we only used and saw sanitary 2. Toilets with toilet seats. Toilet paper, soap and electric hand dryer available, as well as individual washing cubicles. The sanitary facilities are clean and in order. In the reading room or on the lounge furniture in front of it, 1 hour of wifi per day is available free of charge. The train station is a 10-minute walk away. On arrival at the CP there was an information brochure in German about the CP, but also for the visit to Paris which we found very successful. The proximity to the train also has the disadvantage that a train can be heard every few minutes. This is not the right place for those seeking peace and quiet. Otherwise, you can also watch riverboats transporting cargo across the Seine. With the Acsi-Card, the price/performance ratio was fine for us and we would go there again.Аутоматски преведено.
- Jörg Z.August 2015PozitivnoParis and the courseNegativnoToo loud for a relaxing vacationGreat for a visit to ParisA really beautiful site on an island in the Seine in a fashionable, horse-crazy suburb of Paris. Access through the town is a bit of an adventure, but never trust your satnav - follow the signs! Not completely quiet at night due to the nearby railroad line, but you have good connections to the city center.Аутоматски преведено.
- Guntram H.May 2015PozitivnoTo the center of Paris in 25 minutesNegativnoI would not have noticed anya good city campsiteEven though it wasn't easy to find the site, we were convinced. Our satnav finally led us along a park road, which was even closed at the weekend. You can't really rely on the signs on the roads either. 2 of them would have sent us into a one-way street against the permitted direction of travel. The... site is very well equipped and has spacious pitches which are grassed throughout. Shading is provided by tall poplar trees. The staff are friendly, the store offers everything you need and the small restaurant doesn't leave you hungry. However, I could imagine that the location directly on the Seine brings mosquitoes in summer and fall. There was plenty of space in the low season. However, you should definitely make a reservation from the start of the vacation season, even if it can be assumed that the site is used by many campers for sightseeing in Paris and there is a lot of traffic. It is only a 10-minute walk to the train (subway), which makes the site even more attractive. Good value for money!Аутоматски преведено.

- Mattheis H.August 2014Beautiful, nice placeThe site is easy to reach, perhaps a bit of a challenge for beginners with a caravan, but manageable. The staff are friendly and the site is clean. The sanitary facilities were clean. The supermarket has the everyday essentials of camping life, but is also relatively expensive for a campsite. Half of... the site is occupied by bungalows. There is a small playground and a playing field for children. You can tell that the campsite is simply used by tourists from Paris, but this should not be seen as a disadvantage. The site is rather small, and due to the nearby RER train and passing ships on the Seine, noise is to be expected, but it didn't bother us.Аутоматски преведено.
- Giuliano P.July 2014Great campsite for visiting ParisThe plots are a good size with grass ground. Facilities clean and numerous. Paris can be reached in 30 minutes, train station 10 minutes walk, 15/20 minutes and you are in the center of Paris.Аутоматски преведено.
- Plauderkeks P.October 2013Very nice placeWe stayed at this place for two days. The metro station is not far for a trip to Paris and I can only confirm the other comments. We also drove in by car, no problem for an experienced frequent driver :-) but it took us over two hours to get back in the evening traffic. About the place: nice partly large... (our Wowa has 8 m) places with electricity, felt more mobile homes than pitches available, staff very friendly (they speak good English), in the store you get baked goods and much more, the restaurant was unfortunately closed, looks new and chic, small playground available. Sanitary facilities were not heated and very basic, well you shouldn't expect too much. These 4 stars are not comparable with other places. Conclusion: Highly recommended for a short trip :-)Аутоматски преведено.
- Ro T.October 2013We, 2 adults and two 11 + 14 year old children with a large camper van, chose the site as the starting point for our fall vacation in Paris and were not disappointed in any way. After looking through the many reviews in various forums, we went there with mixed feelings and found that even many of the... more recent reviews were not confirmed. As long-time motorhome drivers, we have experienced the strangest things and are happy to say that this campsite is one of the better ones. Friendly staff everywhere. Large pitch with electricity right next to sanitary building 2 (we were gladly given this on request). The sanitary buildings 1 and 2 were, like the whole site, well maintained and clean throughout. During our 6-day stay, we regularly saw the cleaning lady in the sanitary buildings. The only disadvantage when the site is full is the small number of washing, shower and toilet cubicles. There are only three of these for men and women in each sanitary building. However, there are several cabins for the disabled. As already mentioned several times, you have to bring your own toilet paper (which we didn't see as a particular disadvantage). It was more unpleasant that there were no toilet seats in the men's toilets, making going to the toilet more of a sporting challenge. The small store offers everything you need and always has fresh baguettes until the evening (delivered twice a day). The pizzeria was OK, the service was friendly, everything was clean and the prices were normal for the area (i.e. rather more expensive!). The location was good for a stay in Paris, as you never had to wait long for the next RER train after a 10-minute walk and the journey to Etoille, Auber or Chatellet only takes about 20 minutes. There was very little noise on the site itself and the traffic noise on the nearby railroad bridge was audible, but not very disturbing in the motorhome. There is a playground for small and medium children, as well as a small paved soccer/basketball court, each with a goal/basket. Washing machines and dryers were also available, although I found the price for using the washing machine relatively high at € 4.50. The dryer runs for € 1.50 per hour. The dryer runs for € 1.50 for about 15-20 minutes. It will not be cupboard dry. Another note for self-drivers with or without a tent. There are a small number of pitches for tents scattered around the site. The available rental cabins were medium-sized mobile homes without WC and shower with a small kitchenette, living and sleeping area and terrace for 4 people. Now in the fall-winter season, some are occupied by craftsmen (assembly). The tree houses are also rather small. But they look cozy. Definitely an exciting place for small families with adventurous children. Our navigation system found the site without any problems. The access road is narrow but perfectly adequate. You can get there easily (our Womo is 2.45 m wide at the mirrors and 7.30 m long) Even with a trailer you can get there easily. We also found the prices OK. We paid € 44 per day including electricity and tourist tax(?). If we ever decide to spend several days near Paris again, we will certainly choose Maisons-Lafitte again.Аутоматски преведено.
- Astrid H.August 2013A campsite located on an island in the Seine with well-kept, spacious pitches. Some of the sanitary facilities are quite old (some are newer) and not particularly clean. Toilet paper must be brought along. A busy railroad bridge crosses the Seine within sight and earshot. This makes the campsite quite... noisy at night. Advantage: the train station with a direct connection (approx. 30 min. RER train) to the center of Paris is only approx. 1 km away on foot. The supermarket on the campsite is relatively expensive. The pizza in the restaurant (also to take away) was ok in terms of price and taste. We found the CP as a starting point for our visit to Paris from a price-performance point of view just ok, but we would not want to spend more than 3-4 nights here.Аутоматски преведено.
- René R.June 2013The site is beautifully situated on an island in the Seine. There is a nearby railroad bridge over the island, which is a little noisy (RER and regional trains, no traffic at night). The train station is a 10-15 minute walk away. Trains leave every 10 minutes and take about 20 minutes to the center.... When approaching the site via the D308 after the Seine bridge, follow the camping signs, not the satnav. Then only the last 50m are narrow. The pitches vary greatly in size. For short-term guests, there is not necessarily enough space for a caravan, awning and car. We wanted to see Paris anyway, so it didn't bother us. There were also other much larger pitches. The pitches are a bit hilly with rather unkempt lawns, but nicely laid out with shrubs. There are plenty of mobile homes, which unfortunately are not separated from the other pitches. However, they tend to be smaller types that are not quite so close together, so they are bearable. The sanitary buildings are fairly new, but not very spacious. As the mobile homes are often rented by groups, one group can quickly take over everything and cause waiting times. Nevertheless, everything was quite clean. However, there is no toilet paper and no hooks in the toilets. Washbasins only in individual wash cubicles. I miss one with soap by the WCs. Hot water can be scarce in the evening. There is a well-stocked store, we didn't try the pizzeria. The staff are very friendly and give tips for visiting Paris. I would stay here again at any time.Аутоматски преведено.
