"All right - The campsite is designed as a leisure center. You notice that very quickly here. Everything is designed for family entertainment and fun and games. With around 800 pitches, it is gigantic in size and resembles a small town. However, the sanitary facilities are a bit outdated and urgently need to be overhauled. The reception is manned by friendly staff and you can also manage quite well in English here. The park's own restaurant is even open on Mondays and serves fantastic food at absolutely fair prices. All in all, highly recommended! However, it has to be said that we were there in the low season. It's very quiet and empty there. The high season is probably more for English/French-speaking families with an ambition to socialize.

" - Very nice campsite. Clean with lake and pool. The only mango is that only French is spoken. Even on a so-called welcome evening. The animation would also need a bit of an overhaul. Young people are not included. Nevertheless, we had nice relaxing days and would go there again at any time.

" - We were there as caravanners with a child (15 years) and dog for 2 weeks in the high season. Not necessarily recommended for dog owners. The location directly on the lake is great. To the Atlantic about 10 minutes by car. The place is equipped with all imaginable comfort such as restaurant, snack bar, supermarket, etc.. The sanitary facilities were cleaned several times a day and are in good order even in high season. The pitches are easy to access and okay. If you like it a bit quieter, you should keep a greater distance from the entertainment areas when booking. Overall, we would go there again.

" - Very large campsite. Good cycle paths to Leon and the Atlantic. We have been to the campsite 6 times and will be back. If you want to fish you can buy a fishing license in the fishing store in Leon.

" - disappointing for a 4-star hotel. A shame because the setting is magnificent. The campsite is invaded every weekend by Spaniards who respect nothing.

Profil

The large Sandaya Le Col Vert campsite in the south of France is located on the banks of Lake Léon. You are surrounded by forests, but the beaches of the Atlantic coast are also nearby. The town of Dax is …35 km away and the Landes de Gascogne Regional Nature Park is just an hour away. This well-kept campsite offers you a camping holiday in a green setting. It is a large-scale site with well-kept, spacious pitches. Surrounded by mimosas and oaks, you are sure to have a wonderfully relaxing holiday here. There is also plenty of choice for those who love accommodation. You can choose from a cottage, a lodge tent or a Coco Sweet. Bubbling, splashing and swimming: at Le Col Vert you will find several swimming pools and a spa. The pools can be partially covered, which is an advantage in bad weather. You can also swim in the lake. This is not very deep and has a sandy beach. Lake Léon is also very suitable for water sports. There is a water sports centre 200 m from the campsite. From dinner to windsurfing, there is plenty to do!
