"Beautiful small campsite directly on the Rhine - Extremely friendly and helpful young people run one of the most beautifully situated campsites on the Rhine. You won't find any permanent campers here (well, there do seem to be two permanent parkers in the northern part of the site ...)! The bread roll service and the quality of the bread rolls are unbeatable. The sanitary facilities are well maintained and very clean. This dog-friendly campsite proves that it is also possible without a barrier (e.g. closed at lunchtime)! Unfortunately, the single wash cubicles, one shower and one toilet in each of the two sanitary areas were permanently locked during our stay. What a shame, there are supposed to be campers who can't or aren't allowed to shower! It's a prankster who thinks that this is an attempt to optimize cleaning costs! The WLAN did not exist for the pitches further away, but is to be installed soon (?). Noise-sensitive campers should have earplugs in stock for the night - ships' diesel engines and freight trains can be very loud ...

"Quiet campsite directly on the banks of the Rhine - A very nice place, the passing ships at night can be disturbing, but you have to come to terms with that when you are right on the water. It didn't bother us.

"Small site directly on the Rhine with disposal problem for motorhomes - The small, narrow campsite is located directly between the banks of the Rhine and the main road near Braubach next to a tennis club. The first two rows of pitches are nice and direct with a view of the Rhine, row 3 to the right of the site road is fine, the 4th row is not good at all with small pitches and difficult to access between the vehicles in the 3rd row. It would have been better to have large pitches in the 3rd row instead of such a mess. All pitches have electricity and water but no waste water. Pitch 29 in the 4th row is an imposition right next to a pile of stones with a view of the chemical toilet disposal on the house wall and the "smell" of the waste collection point. At the end of the site is a small "wild camping" area where you can set up with small mobile homes or tents without electricity. The sanitary facilities are modern and clean. There are 4 showers, 4 washbasins and 1 single wash cubicle for men and women. 5 WCs, 1 of which is defective. The kiosk / reception has a bread roll service with delivery directly to the mobile home around 08.30 am. A small ice cream (mini cup 100 ml) costs 3.90 euros, which is quite hefty when you consider the price per liter, so it's better to go to the ice cream parlor in town or wait for the ice cream van that regularly drives to the site. There is also a Netto discount store with a bakery in the checkout area. There is a large public playground about 200 meters away. Wifi available free of charge. Unfortunately, the disposal of mobile homes is very poorly regulated. A small gully in the outdoor area, about 1 meter from the house wall next to a cypress makes direct disposal almost impossible. Sometimes cars from the tennis club also park there, in which case disposal is not possible at all. The operator has provided a plastic drainage pipe there, whoever wants to can kneel down and try to drain their waste water into the gully with this pipe. A no-go for a campsite. Installing a simple drainage channel or large funnel there, as is usually the case, should not be an option.

"Great here!🏕️ - Cleanliness and friendliness are very important. The young team makes every effort to make the guests' stay as pleasant as possible. Much has already been renovated, for example the shower facilities are superb. A well thought-out and sustainable concept is being implemented step by step. Great.
