"5 stars - rather not !!! - We stayed at the campsite for 5 nights. Unfortunately we were disappointed as this place has zero charm. Everything is designed for maximum animation and is very impersonal. If you are looking for this and put camping in second or third place, this is the right place for you. Unfortunately, this maximum tourism is also reflected in the restaurant and the Italian touch disappears completely. This was not our case and therefore we will not be back...

"Great campsite! - The site is really good, clean and offers the perfect starting point for an excursion. The pitches themselves, especially the ACSI pitches (red and blue) are quite uneven, but if you have wedges and boards with you and are a bit practiced, you can manage. The restaurant offers good food, but is expensive. The market has everything you need, but is also expensive.

"Inadequate parking spaces - We would not go there again because of the pitches. Price/performance and 5 stars are not right in my opinion!

"Nice place, too child-friendly ;) - The campsite is very large and well equipped. Well-stocked market, good restaurant with reasonable prices. The staff are extremely friendly. The access to Lake Garda is very wide and not overcrowded. Unfortunately (for me as a solo traveler looking for peace and quiet) there are too many children and therefore a lot of noise.

If you are looking for a campsite for families in Desenzano, choose the practical and convenient solutions offered by San Francesco Camping Village. Here you can choose from a variety of pitches, from lakefront pitches in a panoramic location in …the first or second row directly on Lake Garda, to standard or equipped pitches, ideal for tents or small to medium-sized campers, and the superior and new superior pitches for the largest caravans and motorhomes. The pitches offer the highest level of comfort and are equipped with a 10-ampere power connection (expandable on request), as well as a water drain and a fresh water connection. The San Francesco Camping Village is located directly on Lake Garda, with a 400-metre-long beach. You can rent pedal boats, SUP boards, canoes and much more here! Boat moorings, buoys on reservation and a slipway with towing service are also available. Located in a beautiful green setting, our campsite in Desenzano, on Lake Garda, has a swimming pool that is ideal for young and old. You can have fun and relax in the three large lagoon-style pools with different depths. A children's pool and a sunbathing area with free sun umbrellas and sun loungers complete the facilities of the campsite with swimming pool on Lake Garda. There is also a lifting device to make the swimming pool accessible to people with disabilities. Let our campsite entertainers inspire you to take part in sports at Lake Garda and take part in football, tennis, table tennis, basketball and beach volleyball tournaments, or keep fit with water aerobics and beautiful walks in nature. For the little ones, there is an extensive entertainment programme in the mini club for children aged 5 and up. For the slightly older guests, there are evening events, live music and themed evenings in addition to the daytime activities. For golf lovers, there are three golf courses within 15 km of the campsite. Your four-legged friends are very welcome at San Francesco Camping Village and are allowed to stay with you on some pitches. The restaurant/bar/pizzeria ‘Vela D'Oro’ offers regional and international dishes as well as a large selection of pizzas for a pleasant camping holiday with a restaurant in Desenzano.
