"A great baby,child friendly campsite, I can only recommend it.Perfect. - Friendly staff, perfectly spotlessly clean sanitary facilities, child-friendly, separate toilets and bathrooms for children.Grassy, decent sized plots with electricity nearby.The size and selection of the shop on the site is above average and above expectations.During our stay, parrots were flying in flocks in the trees.Separate washing and toilet facilities for pets and dogs.

"Short stay - The campsite has large plots but (the grass or rather weeds) was not mowed high! There were many ants. On the way to the CP you drive past professionals was unpleasant !!! I can only speak German no other language but I try to communicate with hands and feet and translation help with cell phone I called the reception 2 times to get information both times they just hung up because they did not understand me . Very unfriendly

"Suitable for sightseeing in Rome - Uncomplicated check-in with very friendly staff, some of whom speak German. The pitches are on level, well-shaded grassland, but in summer when it's dry, not a blade of grass grows. The site is beautifully planted and clean. A nearby shooting range can open at 07:30 on Saturdays. There is a good restaurant and a small supermarket on the site. The sanitary facilities are clean under the circumstances but there is a lack of storage facilities in the showers. There are no soap dispensers in the sanitary facilities. A WiFi connection to the Internet unfortunately only works in the immediate entrance area. There is an hourly bus transfer to the nearby metro station in the morning and in the afternoon until 20:30. A later return journey from Rome by public transport is unfortunately no longer possible.

"Camping on the outskirts of Rome - We were here in summer 2017. The signposting to the campsite was poor, very inconspicuous. The site is on the outskirts of the city. To reach Rome by public transport, you have to walk about 30 minutes. There are hardly any parking spaces at the train station. That's why we left the car at the campsite. It takes another 40 minutes by train to get to Rome. Nevertheless, we would choose this campsite again. It is very large, the pitches are freely selectable and quite big. There are lots of shady pitches. The sanitary facilities are fine and are kept clean. There is a small pool. The staff are friendly and helpful. We liked it.

"Highly recommended - Large, clean campground, although far from the center of Rome. Quite a complicated connection ( in 1997 the campground offered a connection to Prima Porta station - now no longer) to the center. Large plots, friendly staff, well-stocked store. Swimming pool on site.

"For motorhome Ideal place of safety and also quite central fast in Rome - For the price, what more could I want! Stayed there for 4 nights. Everything was explained at reception about how to get into the city cheaply and quickly by bus and metro. If I go to Rome again, then here again, no question! As described below, some pitches were unusable because of the lakes, but we still got a dry one. Can be noisy at night, as arrival and departure are possible 24 hours a day, once a motorcycle and once a car rattled. Otherwise quiet! The bottom line is that this fits!

Camping Tiber is located in Via Tiberina,156 -from Rome highway G.R.A. on the exit n°6 to Prima Porta -Terni -from the highway Firenze-Roma on the exit Castelnuovo di Porto to Rome -from the Rome city center take Via Flaminia, in …20 minutes you will be here! GPS COORDINATES: N 42° 0' 36" E 12° 30' 12" If you are on foot from the city center reach the Metro A stop Flaminio, and catch the train line F3, Roma Nord. Get off in Prima Porta station and find our shuttle bus every hour from 8.00 to 13.00 and from 16.00 to 23.00 for 1.50 euros or pubblic bus 020 to reach the campsite.
